It was a very small and safe town with a couple of places to eat. We weren't concerned about leaving equipment in the back of the truck at night. The lodgings were clean and basic. "Boyd Pond was the destination for our most recent sister getaway. This cabin was incredibly welcoming and CLEAN! We did not bring our pets with us but it was so wonderful to see how pet-friendly the rental was...food/water dishes, poo bags, leashes, etc. The kitchen with stocked with everything we needed and more. Beds were comfortable and we stayed nice and warm throughout our snowy stay. Our host was gracious and responsive which is always a plus! We would not hesitate to book a repeat stay. "
