Do not stay here. Especially if you have small children. The pictures do not show how the place actually looks. I have never seen a hotel room as dirty as this. Floor was filthy, beds were stained and it smelled horrible. We did not end up staying here. As soon as we saw the conditions we grabbed our stuff and left. We did not know this hotel was in a bad area of town. People yelling and fighting with each other, and just super sketchy things going on. The only positive side is the man running the front desk was super nice and didn’t even question me when I told him we couldn’t stay there. He just went ahead and canceled the reservation for us. We left and found a much nicer place in a better part of town.

The hotel is good for a short stay, the only thing I was so disappointed is when booking the room it says that breakfast is offered. In the morning I woke up and I went downstairs and I asked the person in the reception where is it, he said that they stop serving breakfast more than a year. There is false advertising, they should update what this hotel offers.

I stayed at the Days Inn in Harrisburg and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff was amazing — very accommodating, welcoming, and hardworking. Big shoutout to Angie in the laundry room and the entire management team for keeping things running smoothly. The rooms were decently clean when I arrived, but I did a little cleaning myself just to be comfortable. The hotel is pet-friendly, which was a huge plus. There’s a large open grassy area on the left side of the building, great if your dog is trained to stay in the area — mine wasn’t, so leash was definitely needed. A lot of long-term residents stay there, but it still works great for short and temporary stays. Plenty of parking, no issues there. Also a sweet bonus — Wendy’s is literally right next door, super convenient! A couple things to note: There is no gym, even though it was advertised. The lobby is pretty simple, with just a coffee machine. Vending machines are in the laundry room. Not too much for amenities, but enough if you’re just passing through. If you stay in the front part of the building, you’ll get a beautiful sunset view — definitely a highlight. Overall, great for a simple, temporary stay with accommodating staff, pet-friendly options, and solid convenience. Thumbs up to the team for keeping the place together! 👍

We got to our room am d turn the lights and air on and blew a fuse. Everything went dark. Door had been kicked in. Trash all over.

You get what you pay for as the saying goes. The room smelled terrible as I had read in other reviews. There was a chair in the room that was stained and well used. Lots of dirt on the floors and it looked like the floors had not been washed, as you could see lots of footprints on arrival. The microwave was broken. There was no lighting in the staiwells after dark. The door/doorjamb did not line properly there was a gap allowing for draft and lots of noice from the traffic. On a positive note, all staff I interacted with were pleasant!

This was a room that made you want to keep one eye open at all times. I have photos that would make anyone not ever want to stay there. We stayed on the second floor. The outside door had about an inch gap from under the lock all the way to the floor. You could see daylight. The ceiling and walls had paint peeling off. No Kleenex nor small water cups available in the room. The floor hadn't been swept in who knows how long. The exhaust vent in the bathroom had black mold and dust bunnies hanging down. The bathroom door did not even close due to the hinge at the top not solidly connected. I thought it might fall off at any closing. There were all kinds of sketchy crud on the walls of the bathroom sink area and again mold in the corners of the tub. The refrigerator had at least two inches of frost all over the freezer unit as that had never been touched. It was a non-refundable room & late in the day when we arrived so we stayed. I honestly am not sure why the place has been allowed to stay open.
Lovely chair to want to sit in and work.
Lampshade needs some attention

When I arrived, the gentleman was having an issue on how to check me in because I used a different card to pay for the room vs one on file in case of damage. He called the owner/manager who came quickly and was able to correct and get me checked in. The front desk gentleman & manager/owner were great. I got the room key which was marked 304, my daughter & I took the elevator & It sounded & shook something awful. We get off & walk to room 304, use the key I open the door & bam a naked man & woman are in the room. I apologize, shut the door quickly, I take the elevator back down go back to the front desk, let him know someone was in room 304 naked. They should have had all locks & a sign on their door, honest mistake. So he said I am so sorry I meant 340. So I get the key go back on the elevator & it gets to the 3rd floor and it stops, then the door opens maybe an inch to inch and 1/2. Will not open, a little boy standing in front of the elevator trying to help me open the door more, cause at this point my hear is racing like crazy. He said push door open or door close. Before I could the door closed goes back down, then opens. I tell the lady standing there who is the housekeeper don’t use it door would not open. Get to our room, go to leave and find out the door wouldn’t lock when we got back & didn’t need a key. Then as we left the next morning I pass someone on the balcony in front of their room smoking pot. I have vowed not to come back.
