"We enjoyed the indoor & outdoor pool and breakfast was excellent. The room was a good size with everything required for a pleasant stay. We didn’t dine here in the evening as the restaurant was fully booked but the menu wasn’t very good so we were happy to eat at The Cracking Crab in Polzeath. We found check in & check out times a little inconvenient for a hotel-room wasn’t ready until 4pm and checkout at 10am meant breakfast was rushed. Parking was tricky as the hotel was busy, EV chargers weren’t working and the shuttle bus was not available so we had to drive to Polzeath. Overall a pleasant stay but not quite perfect for the cost."

"Positively the coziest cottage I have stayed in. Its position in the village is great - only a short walk to the beach and the local bus stop. The host informed me of everything I needed to know, nothing was a problem. Will stay again."

"We had a lovely week at Leafy Hollow. The house was very well equipped and extremely comfortable and spacious for our three generations. We were very grateful for the generous welcome basket. The view and garden were fantastic and a real highlight of our stay. We loved Padstow and the surrounding area. Leafy Hollow is very well situated being so near to all the restaurants and shops as well as to the harbour for boat trips and the ferry to Rock. Many thanks to our hosts for a truly memorable holiday."

"What can I say apart from fantastic! Really good communication from Pete before the stay. Everything clearly explained and some useful pointers for the trip. House was beautiful, recently renovated and really comfortable for a family of 6, which included 3 adult children. Everything you need for a holiday. Great location. We know the area well, but have never stayed in Trevone before. We are definitely returning. So happy. Thank you Pete "

"This is an absolutely fabulous property, it was immaculately clean, had everything one would need and quite a bit more eg a selection of cooking spices, picnic equipment, beach towels etc. It was in a great location only a 7 minute stroll into Padstow. We enjoyed using the BBQ and borrowing the beach toys. Its excellent value and the hosts were very helpful. I'm quite fussy and this was the best rental property we have ever stayed in!"

"Slightly further out of Padstow than we realised. It meant that one of us had to be designated driver as it was too far to walk with a four year old. Harlyn and Trevone Bay 6/7 minutes drive away which was a massive bonus. Cottage itself was clean (a few dirty mugs in the cupboard and a condom wrapper under the bed found). Peaceful setting with beautiful view of fields at the front. I would recommend this cottage to families with younger children as our oldest found getting up to the top bunk tricky - we put the mattress on the floor instead."
