「Could do with a hoover under bunk beds. Didn’t have all of the advertised vegetables with roast dinner and wasn’t offered any alternatives or discount. Service in restaurant and bar slow at times. Beautiful view of PolZeath beach . Sofas could do with a clean as water stains on them and a few more cushions on sofa would be a nice extra.Overall very pleased with our stay and would return again.」

「When I arrived very early, they made my check in so easy and let me have the room well before lunchtime no extra cost. The food was excellent. I had breakfast and evening meal there. Food quality, and price was good. Room was very comfortable. Very clean shower and towels were nice. Highly recommend it would definitely stay there again.」

「I booked for 3 nights and ended up checking out after the first night. It was a disaster from the time arrived. I had confirmation that I had a parking space reserved only to be told that there wasn’t one when I arrived. They told me check in was at 3pm. I went back at 3.30pm and they said my room wasn’t ready. I finally checked in at 3.50pm. My room was on the 3rd floor. The lift was out of service. I had to climb 3 floors with luggage and 2 young kids and not to mention I have a mobility...

「We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room...

「Very good value for money, nice bar area, great location next to the beach, unfortunately heating broke down but that was beyond their control, they should have offered a free drink or similar. Would stay again, I was in an en-suite room which was good value, I was on my own but room could sleep 3. Would stay again 」

「The Hideaway has the potential to be a 10/10 accommodation because the location is absolutely outstanding. It is perfectly situated for an easy walk into the village of Port Isaac, down to Port Gaverne, and also conveniently close to the Co-op.
