Very friendly staff at reception and the restaurant. Clean ample rooms. Largely well equipped, however, poor western news programming - no BBC or CNN although listed in the TV brochure. Excellent restaurant menu and service. The only drawback is the area; very busy, smelly hard to walk, practically no sidewalks and unbelievable traffic. Must get picked up and dropped off at the hotel, however, Reception staff will help with that too!!

Super Candle locates in a very busy street; however the hotel is fairly quiet. We appreciate how helpful the staff were to a bunch of elderly traveling through Hanoi. They were so kind and very attentive to our needs. The breakfast buffet foods quality and variety were not consistent- some day the food were great & fresh, other days it was not so abundant and lack luster. Overall, we had a great time at Super Candle hotel and would recommend it to our friends who are traveling through Hanoi.

Lovely city stay!

This was our last stop as part of a three week holiday and we found this hotel to be conveniently situated, very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We also booked spa treatments and I had the best facial treatment that I have ever had! A great experience!

This hotel has everything that a five star hotel has. The breakfast is amazing. Very peaceful sleep without any noise. A bit far from the old town where everything is but we can catch grab to go anywhere so cheap. Staff are friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again

A suite we booked was very spacious and well appointed. The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating for out of country tourists. The breakfast was well done and convenient to start off each day. The spa was amazing and I think we got four massages while we were there. I highly recommend it.

Large space!

It was fantastic for us to have a large space (2 bed apartment) in the middle of our Vietnam trip. The hotel felt a little outdated though and the main bathroom flooded into the hallway and the poor hotel staff was on her hands and knees with me trying to mop up! It felt like the drain in the bathroom was uphill rather than down.... Location was fine for walking but tours would not pick us up due to not being in the old quarter, travellers beware! Local shops meant we could easily access food and the staff were very helpful.

Super Hotel Candle is a 4 star hotel that strives to provide a 5 star service. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, food is good and with plenty to choose from even for a picky eater like myself, and personnel will try to satisfy any request. Third time in this hotel and for the first time i had a massage, too bad i haven't had more of them, extremely relaxing. I will come back for sure and i recommend this hotel for short and long stays.

Family suite was very spacious and facilities good. Clientele and services (food, language etc) appear to be aimed at Japanese and Korean visitors. Breakfast is standard buffet breakfast - good but not exceptional. Traffic is very heavy and location not very central but Grab was very efficient, cheap and quick to get around even in peak hour.

The hotel itself is really nice. We loved the pool and the spa staff and reception staff were really friendly and helpful. We had an unfortunate interaction with the restaurant staff on our last night where they kept ignoring us for the entire time and being quite rude, forgetting half our order and only waiting on other tables. Eventually we got up and left as we got tired of waiting for service and it left us quite upset. It was a bit of a hassle trying to get them to honor the expedia 20% off discounts with the VIP access but eventually they did at reception, i feel this was more a lack of communication to the other departments within the hotel. We did have to get up really early for a bus the mornjng we left and they put together breakfast bags for us which was really nice.

A 4 star hotel with a 5 start staff. The staff is really kind and will try to help you in every possible way. Dat spent nearly 2 hours to find me a Ha Long cruise, and only at the end I found out that he did that on his day off. Also the massages and food are really good. My only recommendation is for more staff to improve their English, other than that, 0 complaints. I'll be back for sure.

We love the Japanese food nearby.... We actually became locals and would go everyday for lunch or dinner. The hotel itself is unforgettable expierence from reasonably priced massages to great atmosphere, the staff is also amazing at speaking English I can not wait Togo back
