Good location for old quarter

This hotel was perfect location in the old quarter next to the lake and many restaurants and cafes. Swtea was really helpful in providing suggestions of where to eat and helping organise a massage with the staff. Also pepper was very friendly and able to help with booking trips and travel.

Dzung pepper was extremely friendly, kind and helpful with everything! The front receptionist answered all questions and the door holder works so hard! It was an amazing experience and everyone would enjoy!

Work being carried out

The room was nice and the hotel is in a good locations. We also enjoyed the breakfast. However, it was disappointing to find out that work is being carried out on the roof of the property, that meant drilling noise and other loud construction noises began at 6:30am every day and did not end until 6pm. Would have been nice to have been told about this so we could have cancelled our booking and gone elsewhere, or at least known why we were being woken up to such loud banging noises!

Very basic hotel , smell of damp. Room small as was toilet& basic shower straight to floor. No great amenities. Breakfast was great included but didn’t have. A quick overnight stay before traveling. Cheap and it reflected it. Would I use again- no. I’d pay a little bit more for comfort & facilities.

Don't bother

Do not stay here - read the Google reviews. The rooms are dirty (ours had mold on the walls), tiny and look absolutely nothing like the photos. There are a million other hotels for the same price in the area, avoid this one. We nearly left but our stay was only one night so we stuck it out but I would absolutely never stay here again. The female manager is pretty rude but the gentleman working front desk was nice.

· Phillip, our host, and the Silk castle Hotel treated us great. We had researched an itinerary for our time in Hanoi and Phillip reached out prior to our trip and made it a reality with very little stress involved. The value was excellent. All our guides were knowledgeable, kind and spoke fluent English. The arraigned transport was top notch. There wasn’t a moment we felt that we had too much on our plate or too little. right across the alley was Suong Pho which became our preferred way to start the day. The hotel was centrally located in the Old Quarter making everything easy to walk to. We felt safe throughout our stay. Phillip and his family were responsive to any matter of request or question. I had sprained my ankle prior to our arrival and after a long day adventuring in Ninh Binh it was very swollen and painful. I had casually asked Phillip where I could find some ice. He proceeded to hop on his Scooter and was back in a matter of minutes with large bag for which he didn’t even ask for reimbursement. He upgraded our accommodations for our last two nights, per his recommendation, and we found that hotel to exceed our expectations. Overall we were very satisfied with the full line of service provided by Phillip and his family. Our only regret was that we were unable to make it to his invitation for rice wine and a home cooked meal.

臭いが気になる方は無理、ロケーションは最高

There are many differences between the photos and the actual place. I couldn't stand the strong stench (it smelled like sewage), so I asked to change the room, but I couldn't stand the smell, so I gave up one of the three nights and moved to another hotel. Everything is broken and broken. The safe is unusable. There was an outlet, but one of them was unusable. All the cups were tea stained and water stained and unusable. I think the 5-star rating on Google Maps is a mistake. The staff is friendly, but they make a lot of excuses, which is disappointing. I didn't ask for a refund for one night this time, but the room was terrible. The location is great.写真と現場では違う所がたいへん多いです。凄くきつい異臭（かなり下水臭い）で我慢出来ず、部屋を変えて頂きましたが、臭いには勝てなかったので３泊のうち１泊を捨てて他のホテルに移りました。 いたるところ故障、壊れています。 セーフティーボックス使い物になりません。コンセントは有っても片方利用不可でした。コップはどれも茶渋や水垢で使えません。 Googleマップで５つ星は間違いだ と思います。 スタッフはフレンドリーですが言い訳が多く残念です。 今回、１泊分の返金は求めませんでしたが　あまりに　ひどい　お部屋でした。 ロケーションは最高です。

화장실에서 청소안한 공용 화장실 냄새나요`

로컬 분위기 즐기고 싶은 사람에게는 최적입니다. 그러나 화장실 냄새 환장하네요 입실할때는 무슨 약품을 뿌렸는지 냄새가 안났는데, 외부에 한번 갔다오니 몇일 청소안한 공중화장실 냄새가 납니다. 조치하라니 방향제 같은거 뿌려주고 좀 있으면 안날거라고, 도버히 못참아서 방바꿔 달랬더니 우여곡절 긑에 바꾸긴 했는데, 많이 덜하긴 했는데 역시 방향제로 유지되고 있었어요~ 인도인들이 싼맛에 많이 머무는듯 해요. 다신 가고 싶지 않았어요~

部屋は思ったより狭かった。朝食会場の隣の部屋だったので、朝スタッフが準備をする音がうるさかった。 朝食は期待ハズレだったが、無料なので仕方ない。朝食は頼めばオムレツやフォーも食べられます。 泊まる日数分、無料の水がもらえます。1本はキャップの蓋が開いていたと思うのでよく注意した方が良いと思う。 部屋のヘアドライヤーは、コードが短すぎた。
