"This was a nice stay for a quick get away. The staff were very helpful and kind. When our remote wasn’t working at 11:00 pm they came to our room to help us right away. The location has stores and restraint very close by. We had our dogs with us and had no issues finding somewhere for them to go outside. Next time we’re in the Houghton area we will stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Quincy House and would absolutely come back. Our room had been beautifully remodeled in a way that preserved the period feel of the home while still being very comfortable. You can tell a lot of care has gone into bringing this historic property back to life. The scratch-made breakfast was a real highlight—absolutely outstanding and something we looked forward to each morning. The same attention to detail being put into the house clearly carries through to the hospitality. A couple things worth knowing: Quincy House is still undergoing restoration, so you won’t yet get to experience the entire property. Our room was completely insulated from the work, though, and it didn’t detract from our stay. The sitting room can also get a little warm on sunny 80+ degree days, but certainly wasn’t a deal breaker for us. Overall, a wonderful stay in a beautiful historic home with lots of character, great hospitality, and an exceptional breakfast. We’re excited to see Quincy House as the restoration continues!"

"The house was nice, clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The host also did not require you to do an excessive amount of cleaning at check-out either, like some hosts have moved towards, and I very much appreciated that. Check in and check out were smooth and easy. The house has a nice view of the lake and is quiet and peaceful. It was about 10-15 minutes from town and easy access to some local parks. I would definitely recommend this place."
