Cute little house, nicely decorated. Minor issues: couldn’t find a switch to operate the garbage disposal, one window doesn’t lock, could have had more paper products (paper towels and toilet paper)

This was an extremely stressful & horrifying stay. Communication was poor from the beginning. I booked a month in advance but never received check-in instructions. Messages through VRBO went unanswered, & I ultimately had to contact VRBO to obtain a phone number. The door code was not sent until we were already on our way.House looks nice at first glance but has numerous serious issues.The hall bathroom has black mold on the ceiling, & the vent drips into the bathroom. One faucet knob doesn't work, so there is no hot water at the sink. The master shower door won't stay closed, causing water to run onto the floor. A ceiling leak dripped directly onto my son's bed. Two unlocked windows in our daughter's room were very unsettling. Then there were the bugs: a caterpillar in a bed, multiple spiders & flies, mosquitos, ants, a large roach, and, unbelievably, a frog in the master bathroom. We were afraid to leave anything on the floor! The most disturbing incident occurred when two strangers arrived and attempted to enter using a code the owner had given them to tour the house for a potential purchase! We were told the owner had "got confused" about our checkout. Had we been out, strangers could have entered the home! Other issues included a noisy freezer, bad smell, inadequate kitchen supplies, nearly empty handsoap, & inconsistent checkout times. We barely slept for three nights. This was by far the most stressful rental we've ever had & we would never come back. Look elsewhere!
