Top Hampton-in-Arden Hotel Reviews

Crowne Plaza Birmingham City Centre by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Great stay. Was able to check in early. Breakfast was as good as I’ve ever had! Thank you. Go Villa! "

The Grand Hotel Birmingham
8/10 Good
" Ok"

The Cube Hotel Birmingham
6/10 Okay
"So conflicted absolutely brilliant location/views but definitely not a luxury hotel
Booked a 1 night stay and saw reviews about the air con being broken figured it would be fixed by the time I got there a month or so later. I was wrong
On check in the friendly receptionist let me know the air con wasn't working & I could have a fan if needed. Having stayed in some incredibly hot and not air conditioned hotels in the past I figured how bad could it be. It was bad
The room was baking. The huge windows that give the amazing views also act as massive radiators and the heat in the room was stifling. The sun obviously hits the windows all day although when I arrived around 4pm the sun had moved off the glass.
To the credit of the receptionist my request for a quiet room had been met and I was in a small corridor with only one other room I was able to wedge the door open to let some of the heat out.
There were 2 fans, one was broken (plug snapped) when I asked for a replacement I was told they would see what they could do, but saw no replacement nor did I get a call to say they didn't have a spare
The room was tired, carpet stained, walls & bathroom dirty
Luckily I was visiting for a gig so the room had cooled a bit by the time I got back
I slept well & the room was quiet. Check in/check out were easy & the staff I met were friendly
Overall I was disappointed. I could have booked elsewhere for less but wanted to treat myself for a special occasion.
I won't be back"

The Arden Hotel & Leisure Club
4/10 Poor
"The outside of the building and lobby look nice. The room was decent enough but the bathroom let the room down though. Having to turn and sit at an angle cause the towel rack is in front of toilet wasn’t great plus the fan leg was broken causing the fan to keep falling over so gave up using it. Also they do not have an airport shuttle and if you order a taxi you need to meet it away from the property or you’ll get a £5 fee.
But my biggest issue is with the person responding to online messages and their lack of customer service skills.
Won’t stay here again, too many other better hotels with friendlier staff."

Hampton by Hilton Birmingham Broad Street
10/10 Excellent
"check in was simple and easy to do, rooms were comfortable and had all required amenities, breakfast was very busy, but lots to room to accommodate people and good selection on offer.
Location was very handy to attend conferences at ICC on 5 mins walk"

ibis budget Birmingham International Airport - NEC
8/10 Good
"Clean room, friendly staff as always. "

ibis Styles Birmingham NEC and Airport
4/10 Poor
"Does what it says on the tin. Accommodation basic but clean and comfortable. Bar and food menu a tad like a works canteen and food nurtured in the microwave. But ok overall for a pre-flight stay."

Malacuna Birmingham
10/10 Excellent
"Really happy, I stayed in one of the private rooms and was pleasantly surprised. Nicely decorated and a great location for central Birmingham. "

Malmaison Birmingham
10/10 Excellent
"It’s central Birmingham. Canals and curry are the order of the day. You’ll have a blast."
