The place was'nt very clean and my reservation was messed up, even after talking to them a week prior to my stay. They gave me a room with a tv that did'nt work but still charged me full price. The one good thing i can say was at least the bedding and towels were clean.
Despite me calling ahead, property would not allow my dog until I began to argue. They literally said that if I wanted to bring a dog I shouldn't have booked the room through Expedia. When they relented, they would only provide a room with a single bed, even though I had reserved a room with two beds. And on top of all this, the room was absolutely filthy. So much so, that we didn't even stay for the 2nd of our two nights there.

not that bad
You can tell the place is old when you pull in but it was right off Highway 30 and easy to find. The employee who check us in was very nice and helpful and even upgraded our room to a king size bed for the price we had booked for a standard size one.. We were visiting the area to help a family member with a major home improvement so all we wanted was a good place to sleep and shower. The room was not fancy and in fact the decor was ugly and worn but that really didn't matter to us. There was a TV, refrigerator, and microwave in the room. The bathroom fixtures were also old and worn but clean. There was a shower and no tub but all we wanted was a shower anyway. The towels were rough and there were no cups in the bathroom. The room was very quiet and even though we were on a busy highway I never once heard any of the truck traffic. I use a cpap machine and had no problem getting to an outlet. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner worked just fine. It is my understanding that the place is under new management and they are in the process of improving things. We were satisfied with our visit and we will probably stay there again, especially at their reasonable prices.
When we arrived, got a room and had parking right front of our room. Other day someone else took our parking for two days straight. Inside room dislike the odd smell, the comforters are old and dirty. Inside bathroom look old and dirty on trims. Shower head needs replaced, water runs hard with some holes blocked. That hurts when runs hard while showering. It needs updating.

Clean, plus friendly staff
This was not one of those "fancy" motels. However, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable room and a friendly staff at a fair price, I would recommend this place.
We don't mind quaint, older facilities lacking amenities. However, the water quality from the bathroom sink and shower was like nothing we've seen in decades. Full of iron is one thing, but the cloudiness of the water in a clear glass seemed to indicate bad plumbing. Knowing that this property is located in a rural farming area, with unknown ground water status, was enough to prompt us to limit exposure. A decent night's rest, but we know we paid way too much for a night -- especially since the rates posted by the (new?) property owner on their large sign is roughly 1/2 the Travelocity rate we paid, even with a booking at least 2 weeks in advance!
This was one of the worst (if not THE worst) hotels I ever stayed at. We arrived at 9:00 p.m. and there was a family outside one of the rooms with their pick up truck and lawn chairs with music blasting. The check in lady was the only redeeming thing about this stay. She was very pleasant and said they would not be up all night, but to call her if it stayed too loud. The condition of the room was disgusting. Dirty walls & doors, sloped toilet with yellowish water. And, there were no towels or wastebasket in the room. Plus, the cost was $66/night + tax. Totally not worth it! I would have left that night, but we had driven all day and my husband convinced me to stay.
This is the worst place I stayed in. Room was ok but the bathroom was nasty, shower cabin full of mold, dirty shower curtain, they even left bonus a used soap and razor from the previous customer who had the room.
Well, they had new carpet, and sheets were clean. Bathroom sink had 3 holes and cracked, showered was was in need of repair, no coffee pot, no cups for water, chain lock was loosely attached to door frame, parking lot was trashy,
Owner was very friendly, wasn't there when we arrived so we paid later in evening when we returned, person who have us key was friendly.
No matter what quality of place a hotel or inn is, there is ABSOLUTELY no excuse for uncleanliness. Spiderwebs everywhere with live spiders living in them. Thankfully, I expected in the country spiders to be about so I carry Terminex for protection of my pets and my family. The walls were filthy. The ceiling tiles were filthy and had holes and gaps in them. We got a double bed room and we moved the beds together and it was obvious it has not been cleaned since the carpet was put in. They didn't even paint past the beds. That is just plain lazy/cheap work.
I don't care that the building is old. The sign said the building has been renovated and updated. If so, very little has been done.
The Manager is nice but she did not make sure our room was clean with towels sets for two people, the refridgerator/freezer was not cold/freezing, here were no plastic covered cups, the Direct TV was not operable and ready for us that by the time we arrived.
The next morning I was so shook up I tore the bedding off the bed the to find that the sheets were stained. We stay in pet friendly hotels alot and never have we stayed in one so dirty and unprepared as this one. NOT. EVER. We will not be back. If your wondering why we did not cancel immediately, we had not where to stay all other places were book and we would have lost our first nights hotes cost which was double the regular rate..$75.00.
If in doubt go do a surprise visit request pictures we took of the room and bathroom.
The shower was in poor condition...we wore flip flops in the shower! It was suppose to be a smoke free room but it smelled like smoke. When we checked the clerk asked if we wanted our room cleaned eveyday because she waa the one to clean it and if we didnt it saved her some time.

Heather, the front desk clerk, was very professional, polite, and helpful. The building was older, but for the price, they are clean, quiet, and pest free. The only recommendation I have is we would've loved to have some coffee in the morning.

Bathrooms could use a remodel. Everything is rather 70s era. Other than that it IS what it advertises as.... a cheap motel located on a highway in the middle of nowhere.
