  • Located in Halifax, this cozy private basement suite offers a comfortable retreat for your getaway. Please note: the owners live in the upstairs portion of the house. You have the entire basement level to yourself, including a private entrance, so you will not share any living spaces with us.

    The suite features one bedroom with a queen bed, plus a sofa bed in the common area – perfect for couples, solo travelers, or small families. The bathroom includes a hair dryer for your convenience.

    Guests appreciate the warm, inviting atmosphere and thoughtful touches throughout. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of exploring Halifax or enjoying quiet moments inside, this suite offers a welcoming place to rest.

    Important notes:
    · This is a basement unit; you may hear occasional footsteps from upstairs.

Lovely Cozy basement apartment with fried, cooktop, microwave and sink. Stocked with cutlery, cookware, and dishes toaster, coffee maker and pods, and lots of nice touches, like a few snacks in the fridge and a bottle of chilled water. Quiet neighbourhood, good for sleeping, you do occasionally hear a few footfalls from upstairs, but just the regular sound of a happy family, felt like home! Thanks Hiba Would definitely recommend.

This place was fantastic and I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here! The owner was friendly and informative, easy check in/out, fairly convenient plus quiet location, extremely clean, amenities similar to (or better than!) a hotel (towels, cloths, coffee maker, snacks, full kitchen with appliances, shower supplies, a few condiments, plenty of storage, cleaning supplies, linens, lots of outlets, etc.), and an overall great layout with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. Our stay was only 1 night, but I would book a longer stay here in a heartbeat. The only possible negative I can think of it that we could hear the odd sound or some footsteps from the floor above, but this was no bother as the upstairs neighbours were quiet overall! Wouldn’t deter me at all from staying again. If you’re thinking about staying here, definitely go for it! Only recommendation would be to bring an extra blanket if you run cold at night like me :)
