This is a neat place right downtown. Clean, comfortable and cool. Self serve. Shared kitchen and bath. I didn’t see more than a couple of other guests so also pretty quiet.

It was a dorm room and super quiet, clean and easy. Staff was very courteous and were happy to help. But it is a dorm room so if you are looking for a hotel then book that. If you want a cheaper option in a great area of Halifax then this is it. Totally happy.

Great location, close to the Wharf area. Double bed room was very small but great for a one night stay. Exactly what we needed. The entire building was immaculate! Bathrooms, common area, room everything was very clean and well maintained! Thankfully it was a little cooler at night, no air conditioning but a fan was included in the room so it made it very comfortable.

The property is unquie because it is basically a self serve property. You are given a code to enter the building, as well as your room. Housekeeping is there in the day, if needed. There are extra linens if you need them, at any time. The one thing I didn't like was shared bathrooms. Overall, a good experience.

Room was fine and shared bathroom was clean and cute with everything you need, but with no air conditioning it was very hot on the second floor. Fan provided but because windows had to be kept open was woken up very early by very loud garbage trucks amongst other big trucks.

One of the most affordable places to stay on the peninsula. I was honestly so impressed by how clean it was - one of the highlights. The only flaw was my bed mattress was older and not the most comfortable to sleep on, but for a short term stay, you can’t get much better than this spot.

I like it here and I would love to come back. It's priced reasonably and it is centrally located - at the heart of the city. It is near the waterfront (3-5 minute walk), Citadel (7-10 min walk), and many good restaurants. It's a student dorm, so there is no reception. When you book here, they will send the building and room code 2 days before your stay. There are clean towels (bath, hand, and wash cloth). Bring your own shampoo and soap. They gave me a room facing Granville Avenue, so sometimes I can hear a little traffic noise (but not too much). There is a lot of good restaurants near this place.

Understand that you are booking a no frills college dorm room with two private bathrooms/showers shared by eight rooms. Also the room was too warm with no controls for what I think was some kind of central A/C. Fortunately there was no one else staying in the suite. The room is two blocks from the waterfront. Basically was adequate if you need a place to sleep and no more
