Stayed in 4 hotels on our trip, and this was by far our favourite! Great location, great staff! Onsite food was limited, but tasty. Location is superb, and you have hundreds of walkable food options.

The location is excellent for exploring downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Wonderful and helpful staff, great rooms and facilities, it is a great place to stay. A caution that for likely about the next year there is a new complex being developed across the street from the Salter Street side of the building, but it didn’t bother us too much even though they start work at 7am.

The rooftop patio was fantastic. Room was clean and comfortable. However, Elevators were terrible. Only one working, so to check out with our luggage, we waited forever for an elevator. The rest of the 3 days we used the stairs. (4th floor) Also, $6 for a cup of brewed coffee?

Unfortunately, elevators were not operational, but the staff made sure to take care of us helping our bags up the stairs. They also comped our parking and breakfast in the morning as an apology. Great staff, great location, easily walkable to some beautiful areas would definitely go again.

The room was small and layed out poorly. The room was clean but really needs a refresh. Our balcony was not good at all. The staff were great. The parking area was not good. The smell from the garbage was overwhelming and we had to drag our luggage from the top parking area where we were told to park to the bottom area where the elevators were.

The place is great. Great location. Clean rooms. Great amenities. Pool , bar, hot tub , roof deck, restaurant. Only problem was having only one of the two elevators working. Then they both broke. All the staff were friendly and happy even the maintenance and house keeping folks.

Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Construction across the street starts quite early so can be noisy in the morning. One of the elevators was broken resulting in longer waits. Proximity to the Waterfront is perfect.
