Abode Retreats welcomes you to this beautifully refurbished countryside cottage in Blyford, ideally located near Southwold and Halesworth. Perfect for both relaxing stays and those working locally, including Sizewell, the property features three comfortable king bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer), and parking for two cars, making it ideal for longer stays. Enjoy a private garden with patio and seating in a peaceful rural setting.
Welcome to this freshly refurbished countryside cottage, combining character with modern comfort. Set in a peaceful rural location just a short drive from Southwold, it’s ideal for both relaxing breaks and longer stays.
The property offers three well presented bedrooms with comfortable king size beds, designed to give you a great night’s sleep after a day out or a long day at work.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer perfect for longer stays or a true home from home experience.
Outside, there is parking available for two cars and a quiet countryside setting to enjoy, while still being within easy reach of nearby towns and the coast such as Halesworth and Southwold.
To the rear, you’ll find a private enclosed garden with a patio and outdoor seating, ideal for relaxing in the evening or enjoying your morning coffee. There’s also a washing line, which is especially useful for longer stays.
Guests have exclusive access to the entire property, ensuring complete privacy throughout their stay.
You’ll have full use of all areas, including the living space, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, and private garden.
Self check in is available via a secure lockbox for flexible arrival.
Parking is available for up to two vehicles.
Self check in allows you to arrive at a time that suits you.
We are available if needed and happy to help with any questions before or during your stay, but otherwise will leave you to enjoy the property in peace.
Log Burner must only be used by someone confident with lighting. Instructions are provided and must be followed, your safety is incredibly important to us.
Log burner must not be lit and left unattended when sleeping or unattended.
Upstairs toilet: Please don`t flush anything but human waste and toilet paper. No wet wipes or sanitary products etc please.
Pets are not allowed at this property
Shoes – Please no shoes on carpets.
Heating – If it`s too warm, please turn the thermostat down
Damage: If anything is damaged, marked, broken, or stained, please tell us ASAP. We often have just a 6 hour turnaround between guests. Advance notice lets us bring the right equipment so the next guest enjoys a perfect stay.

- Keep access clear for fire safety & shared use (see info on coffee table)

Hot Items – Always use trivets or chopping boards (not worktops).

Placemats – Please use for drinks and plates on tables. Showering – Ensure extractor fan is on (activates automatically with the light, please don’t switch off the extractors).
Dishes, pans & Cutlery: Please return to cupboards/drawers 100% clean.
