"Beautiful onsen outside. Beautiful meals with gorgeous dishes and incredible personal service. Rooms were very comfortable and lovely. Some of the food was a bit odd for western tourists but there was more than enough to enjoy. We loved a day trip to Natadera. One of the most memorable temples we visited in Japan and the least crowded. Walk along the gorge also was nice. The town appeared interesting but was mostly closed on Tuesday when we were there. "

It had a bathroom but no shower, with expectations that you would shower at the onsen. They had free parking which was nice. The breakfast was the best buffet breakfast of our trip with lots of items to choose from. "
