"My friend and I had a one night stay while on our way home on a road trip. Our stay was short but everything was excellent. The front desk clerk at check in was very friendly and helpful. We had a drink in the bar before dinner in the hotel restaurant; our bartender was also our server and she was great, too. The restaurant prices were very reasonable, and our steaks were so tender! Our room was clean and good sized, loved the high ceilings. There is a very interesting history about the hotel, they did an amazing job on restoring the property. Wish we had more than just a one night stay, I was hoping to get a glimpse of the Lady in Blue! :)"

"This amazing property was the perfect prelude to the rest of our vacation. The house is so well appointed that it almost instantly goes from house to home. The views are wonderful, from in the house to the best deck we have experienced. And the wild life was another boost to each day, morning to sunset, the birds singing, chipmunks scrambling, and the quail and turkey visiting the feeding station . . . Just WOW. The cheerful background of Catherine Creek rippling through the valley just added to this premier adventure.Everything was well prepared and ready for our stay. Two days were all we had time for this trip, but we will look to make this a great starter or relaxing finish to any future travels in the area. It is also worthy of a dedicated destination for a refreshing reset beyond the reach of mundane daily life."

"This place was a surprise. I don't know much about the town but it seemed like a sketchy area where this motel was located. I arrived by Motorcycle and sent my wife a message saying I was going to be staying at what looked like the "Bates Motel". How wrong I was, this is by no means your traditional hotel/motel, it was newly renovated and very clean. It had a feeling of an unused guest room at a friends house. Clean and modern and quiet. There is a railroad across the street with regular trains, but I quickly got used to them...Not very loud but noticible at first. I had un numbered room at the very east end of the building."
