"The Corn Store was just as the pictures showed. It’s a pretty Cottage in a peaceful location with many local amenities. We only had a few days but felt we had seen and done a lot. The cottage itself was very comfortable, the dining area sat five of us around the kitchen table and there were plenty of comfy chairs in the sitting area for after supper. "Hotel was really good. Very good location for exploring. Only disappointed thing was rooms are very hot even with a fan, also room was roadside, which can be noisy."

"We would certainly stay here again, room had shower, fan, iron, ironing board , kettle, tea, coffee & biscuits. Room was very clean, bedding spotless, plenty of room to put up our travel cot. Also I love how the room has a front door, we were able to reverse the car in front of our room which helped with the unloading of the car- very handy. The bar had the most amazing food which looks pricey but you get a lot for your money and the food its self is amazing. Staff were very polite and professional. We paid to have breakfast included which i recommend, the welsh breakfast was beautiful. Ideal place to stay if you plan on day trips out as short drives to places like Rhyl. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend. They also have a bouncy castle for kids to enjoy and outdoor seating area, also a golf course."

"From the outside of the castle it looks very impressive but like all old buildings they are a bit rundown in places, but it was clean, our room was very spacious and looked fantastic from afar but when you got closer there were a few issues, mainly in the bathroom but it wasn’t enough to ask for a change of room. There’s no lift available so be prepared for either long walks through several corridors or several flights of stairs to get to your room, that was the only downside. The breakfast was help yourself and there was plenty of choice, we ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely, but be prepared for very high bar prices for drinks, £12.50 for a large glass of wine, there’s a few pubs about a 7 minute walk away. The grounds are lovely and there’s several peacocks wandering around, they were a bit noisy at times but we enjoyed our stay there."
