You will love THE CABIN IN THE HOLLOW, located on beautiful Guntersville Lake in Historic Guntersville, Al. MAIN CHANNEL WATERFRONT, secluded with awesome large covered private deep water dock with electricity! World renouned fishing, sunsets and swimming from the dock! Pets welcome. This great cabin is just15 minutes to downtown restaurants, nightlife and grocery stores. We are just 1 hour north of Birmingham and 45 minutes south of Huntsville! It is nestled in the woods with amazing views! Experience the awesome sunsets while fishing from the dock and enjoy the refreshing lake breeze while grilling your catch of the day. Our Lake is excellent for boating, jet skiing, world renowned fishing, swimming and has many lodges, parks, marinas, restaurants and stores along it's shores - boat to the state park and enjoy golfing, hiking, festivals, dining and more! This is a newly renovated traditional lake cabin. The living room has comfortable leather furniture, a fireplace, and a 60" curved flat screen and DVD. There is a queen size bed in the main bedroom. The second bedroom has a regular bed with a twin above. Each bedroom has it's own TV and DVD player. There is one full bathroom. The kitchen is complete with Refrigerator, stove, cookware and silverware. There is a gas grill on the porch and a charcoal smoker\ grill on the pier. While there watch the eagles and deer that abound, enjoy the hot tub, the outdoor fire pit, and canoe the cove. Feel the warm sun during the day - and cozy to a fire at night. Whether you are seeking a peaceful retreat, a romantic getaway, or simply want to experience nature at it's best, you will find what you are looking for here.

The Cabin in the Hollow vacation

Much needed getaway

The cabin is located right on the water with a very nice yard. Parking was very easy enough room for at least two vehicles to be able to turn around. House was immaculate. The property and location were very calm and peaceful but also close to downtown where there are walking , restaurants here live music so much to do

Cabin was perfect for us and our two small dogs. We brought our boat and the owner let us use his dock and boat lift. Perfect location with a beautiful view of Guntersville!

Being right on the water, with a dock to swim and fish from was awesome. It was nice that there was also yard space with beautiful grass, and a fire pit. Close to town was also a convenience. Overall a great trip.

Wonderful getaway!

This cabin was wonderful! We loved that it was secluded - so peaceful and quiet. We were able to tie our boat up and the property manager even offered for us to put it in the boat dock. Great communication. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful views.

We were after a short, winter fishing trip and this house didn’t disappoint. The house was lovely and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. With several boat launches nearby and the boat house at the cabin, our teenage boys were able to fish whenever they wanted and my husband and I were able to enjoy nature. Check in was easy and the house was very clean and well stocked. Simply beautiful views.

A little slice of heaven

Donny provided perfect directions, which was helpful since the property is a little off the beaten trail. We were blown away by the charm of this cabin, it took us back to simpler times for a few days. Donny drove out the first morning we were there to help us start the fireplace up. Long Fishing Weekend!

Great cabin with everything you could need for a small group! We stayed for a four day fishing trip on the lake. We were able to utilize the boat house for our boat which really helped simplify our trip! The cabin is in a beautiful location and is super comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and even caught a few bass fairly close the cabin! We are already trying to figure out a way to schedule a trip in the spring!

A little slice of heaven

Beautiful setting, right on the lake, Mountain View’s, and the sunset…oh my. Kayaking was so peaceful. Swing our cares away as we watched the sunset, and the bats fly. We slept very well in the comfortable beds.
