Great location, nice amenities, terrible smell

Pros: great location, wonderful amenities, nice layout for the family. We come to gulf shores at least once a year and this was one of the best locations we’ve stayed in. The rooms were spacious, great kitchen, and nice floor plan for a single family. It may be crowded for multiple families. Cons: only one. The house reeked of cigarette smoke type smell. Especially on the first two floors. We noticed immediately, text maintenance within 10 mins of arrival, and they were quick to respond. They offered to spray air freshener. However with that smell that doesn’t do much. Masking a bad odor with a stronger odor sometimes makes the problem worse. We declined and decided to tough it out. We weren’t prepared to drive hundreds of miles to just turn around and go home. And to be clear- aside from this smell- we had a wonderful time. Also, the pre-checkin rules Clearly stated “no smoking allowed.” Upon arriving home everything we brought reeks- From clean clothes, to luggage, to the kids iPads and toys. Before booking be sure to ask if the smell was eliminated.

Great location

Great property, very updated and comfortable. The complex was very quiet and we were usually the only ones using the pool and awesome newly built dock. We have stayed at many places in Gulf Shores and this was great. While I missed the beach views, now that you have to pick up all of you stuff at the beach, we find that staying across the street isn’t too bid of a deal.

Spring break getaway

Wonderful week at Little Lagoon P! Property was just as beautiful as in photos, well appointed, and in a great location. All the comforts of home. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the dock & swing to watch the sunset. Would recommend and come back!

Beautiful property , great location

The unit was perfectly located with easy beach access. It felt brand new with the marble counter tops, bathroom amenities and furniture, etc. The code to unlock the door was 8 digits long so it took a little effort to memorize that but we had fun with it. Overall great property. We'll definitely come back in the future.

Best location in Gulf Shores

This was our visit to Gulf Shores and this property was exactly what we needed for our group. We traveled with friends and our toddler, and while the stairs were a challenge at first (dragging luggage up a couple of flights) it was completely worth it and we will stay here again if possible on our next visit. The location absolutely cannot be beat; far enough away from the commercialization to feel as if you are truly on vacation but a short drive to everything. The access to the beach (directly across the street) could only be beat if you stayed beachfront. Next trip, I hope we have a chance to sit by the pool and enjoy a cup of coffee overlooking the lagoon. Excellent property.

Perfect beach getaway

We loved our stay at Gulf Shores! The house is so beautiful and literally right across the street from the beach. So many areas to enjoy the outside with all of the patio space! There were 5 adults in our group and the bunk beds were a little tiny for adults, but fortunately our adults using them were tiny. This was a great place to stay end we had a great time!

Fun Beach Time

Our extended family of 4 adults, 1 teen, and 3 littles had a great time in Cottage P. The property is very well kept, looks brand new, has a great little pool, and is a short walk to the beach. We were a bit concerned that the property was not right on the beach but even with a toddler we were fine using our wagon to carry stuff. The 2 lane road you cross to the boardwalk was not difficult to cross. Our only disappointment was that some of our party wanted to fish and the dock on the lagoon side is totally washed out. I’m sure repairs for this are coming as everything else was in great shape. We all enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property.

Beautiful Stay

We loved our vacation rental in Cottage P! The beach is so close and we were a short distance into town, but far enough away from the crowds. The house was adorable. My husband wants us to book this house again for another trip next Spring!

Lovely time

We had a blast at the property. Clean and looked just like the photos. We were sure to read through all of the information and had groceries delivered from Walmart with extra supplies. As they mentioned they only have a starter supply of paper products. Garbage bags etc. there was some construction down the street but noise was minimal. TVs had satellite and Netflix etc in both bedrooms and the main living space which was nice. Heads up bunk beds are at the top of a long flight of stairs if you have young kids. Beaches were family friendly and not crowded at all. Overall wonderful time! Of note if you have small kids, you will need to bring your own high chair and pack and play and they don’t have beach towels. No children’s cups or storage containers. They do have plenty of bath towels.

Great location and the place is superb. Very clean and a 2 minute walk to the Gulf. The private beach access was so nice and it was easy to go back and forth between the beach and our place. Our kids loved it. Would book again!

We traveled to Gulf shores with our parents and two children. This condo was the best location for easy beach access and eating out. There was plenty of room for all of us to stay comfortably and it was very clean. Communication with Pam was wonderful. We have no complaints and will for sure be back!

Enjoyed our stay

We normally stay at big condos right on the beach but we opted for a little lagoon cottage to remain socially distant during the covid pandemic. The beach is right there. The kids could go to the pool anytime and we didn’t have to worry about overcrowding anywhere. And the house was great!

Perfect for our vacation

We loved this property. It’s right off the beach but perfectly located between the ocean and the lagoon. You can see both side of the water from balcony. We would definitely come back.
