One house over and across the road, just as described, and you're at the boardwalk and on the beach. The screened in patio is what sold us on Pott's Spot as we're more than familiar with the mosquitoes of the south.
You have a wonderful view of the ocean and they have all the beach supplies you could need down in the laundry room (which took me a while to figure out, but is unlocked by the house key you're provided-- the separate lock box on the laundry room door was confusing).
We enjoyed the privacy of the outdoor shower (as opposed to the open showers we noticed) and the bath towels are soft and fluffy (I'll probably seek out a set for our home).
We didn't go further down the road than this place, but it felt like a small quiet road. So, we were surprised by how busy and crowded the beach got. There are two huge condos to the right of this neighborhood, but we were under the impression this section of the beach was private to the neighborhood.
Luckily, when the weather wasn't cooperative or we wanted to get away from the crowds, Pott's Spot had some great board games we enjoyed as a family.
Yep, we saw plenty of places flashier on the outside and there are probably lots of places fancier on the inside, but this place really grew on me and was just right.
