The unit we booked stinked with cigarette smoke. Smell of pet odor in unit. Kitchen cabinet door was broken and hanging loose. Sofa was filthy. Bedding in master bedroom was soiled (blanket and pillows)

The location of this condo is awesome! There are restaurants, stores, and beach shops within walking distance. Anywhere else you'd want to go is a 5 to 7 minute drive. The condo was clean and the property is family friendly and quietI would replace the cookware as it was old and somewhat scratched up. The sofa in the living room also needs a good cleaning.Overall a nice place.

Great location but not clean

The location was great. The check-in process was very easy. It was nice to have a two bedroom with room for six right across from the water. However, we found not one but two pair of thongs, french fries in the hide a bed and condiments in the master bed. We ended up sweeping the floors because the sand on the floors was thick when we went to use the oven. There was food burned on the inside that smelled. It just was not cleaned.

2024 Summer Vacation

Loved the condo!!! Easiest check ever! Pull up to condo, punch in code to room and you begin your vacation. Check out is the same. Didn’t have to stand in line and pay a deposit. Room was clean and had most accessories. Definitely stay here again!!!

Condo stay

Overall we were happy with the condo. Location to the beach and restaurants was awesome! Communication with the property manager was minimal. We told them the freezer was leaking and did not get a response.

It was really old and not clean when we arrived. Daughter wanted to sleep on pull out couch the first night but no extra sheets. The dishwasher was broken and had to wash dishes by hand. It was in a good area with a lot around but the rental was really old and needs updating and find a new cleaning crew bc they are no good. Property Manager was easy to talk to when needed help and easy to get a hold of and got things done fast when needed.

Mr.

The refrigerator leaked into the lower part of the refrigerator causing the food to stick to the shelving. When reported nothing was done to correct the situation. Also, the washer and dryer were ancient. When I washed a load of white clothes, there was significant damage to some of the clothes to the point they had to be discarded. Again, upon reporting to the manager no action to fix machine or replace the clothing. Multiple texts were sent with pictures of damaged clothes.The clothes were stained beyond use.

Condo nice. Security and HOA rules not so nice

Condo was ok, location is good and booking was easy. 1 parking permit is allowed in rental and must be on your mirror at all times otherwise your car will be jacked or towed and it will cost you $250+ in cash to security company hired by HOA and property management has no input. Ours fell off without our knowledge, first notice was posted on windshield at 7:35 pm, 2nd notice and tire lock at 2:35 am which we found the next day at 2:00 pm. Had to pay Gulf Shores Security $250 in cash (only thing they will accept or Venmo) to have extremely rude man to remove it. Security Co says HOA policy, Sunset Properties said sorry but security co issue out of their control and HOA said policy to reduce spring breakers from using their parking and 3 70 year old women are just out of luck! I will never use any of these companies again.

Walking distance to the beach

The location is just a walking distance to the beach. And everything else from restaurants to grocery stores are very close to the condo.

Got what expected

Other than lacking some of the essentials like passcode and such prior to arriving at property ( we had to call once arrived to get passcode) it was exactly what we looked for and wanted.

Dirty unit and rude property managers

The room was in a great location directly across the street from a public beach access. It’s easily accessible and walkable. The room was the perfect size for me and the kids and my mom for Mother’s Day. The parking lot was a good size for the amount of renters in the place. I wasn’t crazy about having to pay for a second parking tag unadvertised in listing. Once we got in the room, it appeared to be clean but my child’s feet were solid black within the first thirty min. She also dropped something and had to get it from under the bed and I could see a ton of sand and dirt and items lost by past renters that have never been cleaned up by the “cleaning service” that costs double the amount of the booking per night. The kitchen was not well stocked with pots and pans for cooking as stated. Neighbors were rude to my guests. Location: perfect, but unit lacks much needed attention. I will not stay in this unit again.

OBA EXPERIENCE

Overall we had a great time. The condo is in a nice location. Very easily accessible to the beach. Though the biggest downfall is that if you want to walk over to the beach, you have to crossover a very busy highway Using the crosswalk. The road is always busy and you can hear cars all the time, even if you’re in the condo. There’s a lot of great things to do in the area. A lot of activities for kids and adults. Overall food was good. Beach had beautiful white sand. I was a little bit disappointed at the water as it was kind of murky. But definitely was clean. I will definitely visit again.

Very nice a accommodations. Comfortable beds and a close proximity to the shore. Would like to have a milder soap to use with less fragrance. My son turned out to be allergic to the one provided. Overall a very good visit.
