We absolutely loved our stay at Stella’s Retreat.

We absolutely loved our stay at Stella’s Retreat. It even looks better than the photos (and they look great!).There is plenty of room, it is so comfortable and the outside space is really pretty. Guiseborough is a lovely and interesting town - plenty to see and plenty of amenities too. We wouldn’t hasten in booking again.

We had a fantastic family week holiday at this beautiful cottage which had everything you could possibly need and more. The location you could not ask for more everything on your doorstep and so dog friendly and plenty places for dog walks our dogs were in doggy heaven here. The only place dogs are not allowed is weatherspoons were they are not even allowed outside. Fantastic pubs and food places greedy teds is a must if you like pizza. Can’t wait to go back to this place and a big thank you to the owners Rebecca and Craig such beautiful people they were on hand whenever we needed them and went the extra mile with complimentary beer/wine/cakes/bread &dog treats on arrival

Stella’s retreat was home from home for our break away.

Stella’s retreat was home from home for our break away.If you are looking for somewhere to visit and explore the local area and walks it was ideal. Very dog friendly with dog bed, bowls and some dog treats included in welcome pack for our pooches. Dog wash for those muddy days might be a bit high if you have a large dog to lift in but for us was fine with shampoo and towels provided. Lots of dog friendly pubs and eateries in the town, would recommend the Fox Inn.The owners Rebecca and Craig were so helpful and they have given a lot of thought to the little touches made in the cottage.A map of local area giving directions of how to get from cottage to Guisbourgh woods would be helpful, not being from area we were unaware of shortcuts but R&C told us which way to reach them so enjoyed a couple of nice walks. Welcome pack was most welcome, a little butter to put on bread provided would have been welcome in case didn’t have your own.If you are looking for a dog friendly cottage in a fab location then we would certainly recommend.
