We had probably our best family holiday ever with an 18 and 19 year old. We used the infinity pool and gym many days and what a bonus to have a sauna in your apartment. "Nice apartment in a lovely little village in the mountains outside of Salzburg. Perfect weather, much cooler in the mountains than down in Salzburg in July! Very quiet small village of maybe a few dozen people but only minutes away from Hallein and Salzburg. Hiking trails everywhere around the village. They even have a built in alarm to make sure you don’t oversleep and miss anything! Every morning at exactly 6:00 am, and for some reason only at 6:00 am, the local church that is about 100 meters...

"Härligt läge mitt i Flachau, bara två minuter från liften och nära till alla restauranger. Vänlig personal som hjälpte oss med liftkort redan i receptionen. Frukosten var helt okej, det kunde dock bli lite kö då det inte var så stort frukostområde. A little tight to get to the car unloading space in front of the house with the car, parking lot is a few minutes walking distance (up/downhill). Not suitable if you have mobility issues (steps to and in the house)."

"I can’t recommend Hallstatt Hideaway enough! I arrived early and was able to keep my luggage with staff and checked in later. I had the most beautiful spacious room with a view of the lake that was breathtaking! Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing delivered to my room with so many options. Hotel is steps away from the market and main shops and dining. I will definitely stay here again! "

"Truly the greatest stop of our journey through the Alps this summer. We were torn whether to stay outside the city center at one of the other communities around Hallstatt but in the end we took the plunge and stayed at Heritage and it didn’t disappoint. We were able to amble through its quiet streets at night amidst the drizzle and rain and it was perfect. Throw in a good meal at the restaurant there when the other places in town were closed or fully booked and I’d go back again and again if I could. What a magical place Hallstatt is and what a way to complement it by the hotel."
