The service of the hotel staff was great, and the reception was very friendly! Self check in was also extremely smooth. I loved the location close to the Altstadt, and it was an easy walk. However, what I did not particularly appreciate was the cleanliness of the room. There were some almonds left behind by the previous occupant under the table, and I could tell that the previous occupant was having a feast of crackers at the table based on the crumbs and sugar left behind on the chair. I also understand this is partly my fault, as I did not flag this to the staff during my stay, but I would have appreciated it being noticed during the daily room cleanings. Thank you for the clean sheets though! Also, the floor creaks. When the person in the next room was walking, I was immediately alerted to their movement through my floor creaking in return. I am not sure exactly what it is, but there was also a rhythmic thumping noise in the middle of the night, preventing me from sleeping. Being unable to sleep, I timed the intervals between the thumps at approximately one minute. While I understand that perhaps it might be a difficult fix, I believe preventing guests from sleeping is quite the opposite purpose that hotels should serve. Because of this, I did not feel particularly safe sleeping here as a solo female traveler. Hope something can be done to fix this! But other than that, great stay, thank you for the hospitality!

Very nice hospitality, clean room, very nice atmosphere. Breakfast is also good, I want to stay again.
