「Host was great when needing to communicate 」

「Beautiful home, nice neighborhood with plenty of space for activities. Clean at first glance but little oddities like cereal on floors and bugs and webs around home. I loved the place beyond the internet near inoperable during the stay. Multiple requests for assistance were met with DIY fixes that did not work. Again if I weren’t working from the area it would have been the perfect peaceful getaway location. There is a friendly but over vocal dog next door. Thank you for the stay.」

「Great stay, thanks!」

「The house wasn't that clean upon arriving, but we stayed there and on the second night we stayed there and got back we found COCKROACHES on the counter and in the bathroom on main floor. On top of that the homeowner denied my claim on wanting a refund on a 5 night stay. Vrbo said there isn't nothing they can do its all up to the home owner who was no help! Terrible experience!」

「This home and host were top notch! The fenced back yard and the ice in the freezer were great perks! The host went out of her way to make sure we were happy and had what we needed. Great place to stay, close to everything!」

「We were not in town to shop. Made it to the brewery and it was nice. 」

「Stay was great, internet needs upgraded to handle more devices. Only complaint」

「The initial communication was good. However the property has issues that need to be addressed: mold in the basement, a syringe was found above a ceiling fan when the handyman came to service it. Once I advised the host of this all communication stopped. We couldn’t use 1 of the bedrooms and on the main floor due to it looking like a make-shift bed frame that could break at any moment. The tub was filthy & there were ants in there. I feel the cleaning crew is sub-par & has not been forthcoming...

「The property was on a residential street that makes you feel like you're part of the neighborhood. Inside, everything was tidy, modern, and updated. This place is perfect for a family of 4/5 or two couples to stay while exploring everything that Pekin, Peoria, and Bloomington/Normal have to offer.」

「Place is not what it is cracked up to be in the pics. Must have big critters bag of rat poison sitting on the furnace….」

「Overall the house was clean. The heat/air works. The house is quite old. Communication and response with the maintenance company was poor. During our stay, ants in the kitchen prevented use of the counter, sink, and dishes.」

「Thanks had a good time. Close to many things and comfortable.」

「House was exactly as pictured and described. Beds were very comfortable and we would definitely book this property again.」

「Nice neighborhood and parking spaces were big enough for a truck. Property was well maintained and it had a big front porch if you like sitting drinking coffee in the morning. Was disappointed on the house being dirty when we arrived. Floors were dirty and felt sticky.Took my shoes off before entering and socks were covered in dirt just from walking around. Definitely able to hear the people in the upstairs unit when speaking or walking.」

「This is a cute, convenient little cottage in Peoria Heights. It’s convenient to East Peoria and other areas in Peoria. Peoria Heights has a quaint area with shopping and great restaurants. Hearth is mt all-time favorite restaurant. I also highly recommend Two Sisters if you like antiques and vintage items.」

「Felt so at home! We stayed here with five adults. Beautiful home, great location, everything you could need, plenty of room, the most comfortable beds, and easy check in/out. Pat was fantastic with communication and made sure we had all we needed. We enjoyed our stay and will stay at another of their properties next time we visit!」

「I booked this location with the understanding that there were two beds. One bed in the den that was actually a closet. There wasnt much silverware, and coffee cups so we had to wash dishes. NO hand soap in the bathroom. And only TWO HORRIBLE PILLOWS ON THE BED. NO EXTRA ANYTHING. The bed was very comfortable, but I had to by pillows bc the ones provides were so thin. Extra linens and pillows would have been great. Also a bigger trash in the kitchen. A bath mat by the shower. And said...
