"We stayed here for a visit to Dog Mountain and the Dog Chapel which was only a 10-minute drive from the hotel. The hotel is pet friendly and we were able to bring our 50-pound boxer on the trip with us. There were a good variety of restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. The king room was spacious. The lobby area was clean. The hotel gym was well equipped with treadmills, a bike, an elliptical, free weights, medicine balls, benches and a cable machine. The pool was a nice size with chairs all around. We were pleasantly surprised and would come back again."
Barn stay with dairy goats! Your clean cozy spot in the barn is waiting for you
10/10 Excellent
""We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Huntress Haven farm! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely connected to the farm life and nature. The highlight was definitely feeding the baby goats, And milking the mommas. There is a beautiful brook running right next to the barn where we stayed. Fresh eggs from the ducks and chickens. The property is stunning and the mountains provided peaceful escape and an awesome hike to the top.. Dave & Miken was a wonderful host made us feel like old friends, available for questions but gave us plenty of privacy. Very patient and taught us a lot about the goat farming life, including showing us how to milk a goat at letting us milk every time it was needed to be done. It was my fiancé's birthday trip and Dave & Miken made it very special for her with birthday extras. We already booked again to come back!" P.S. - ask about the home made goats milk soap Miken makes, It is awsome! Katie & Dennis"
Capitol Plaza Hotel Montpelier Tapestry Collection by Hilton
6/10 Okay
"My room had candy wrappers behind the night table; if I recall correctly, each guest is allowed to have 2 out of the 4 waters in fridge, but my fridge only had 2 waters to start with, so I felt set up for a surcharge (I didn't notice this issue until the following morning); the bartender from Arizona was great! Cleanliness was a concern"
