「Windjammer was just 'OK' compared to other resorts we've visited in the Caribbean. For the price, we were hoping something would stand out... but it didn't. Unfortunately, we only remember the negatives. Paid drinks (~US$15) are extremely watered down, most times witnessed [literally] a splash of alcohol on top of the mix - they could at least use a jigger! 「Hotel is in a perfect area. The resort is beautiful. They have a lot of restaurants. Nice sea overview. I had a swimup pool room, it was really nice. I only went in once. Was nice for the experience. Hotel staff were very helpfull. Because I requested a late checkout but it was not possible anymore because of an arrival they had for that room they offered me a place to store my bags and the possibility to stay at the resort and/ shower because our flight was 7pm. 「This resort checks a lot of our boxes: quiet, adult only, beautiful grounds, lovely room, good bed, great beach, plenty of towels, comfortable beach chairs, reasonable food. The food is expensive, and there are tour boats that come into the beach all day every day. Most of them are fairly quiet but you do end up sharing the beach and sea with children. There are also sand flies and I got badly bitten - I am still suffering a week after returning home. The restaurant service is erratic - the wait...
