"This is a wonderful hotel, the facilities are great with a nice pool, gym, sauna and stream room all included in your stay. The breakfast is fantastic with a range of really quality options to choose from. The air conditioned rooms were an absolute must in the recent heatwave and meant you could get a great night's sleep. My biggest compliments have to go to the staff though, I interacted with so many of them throughout my stay and they were all so friendly and helpful which is such a rarity, so full credit to them, especially Keira at breakfast who was amazing. I already can't wait to come back and stay here again!"

"This is a really nice hotel in a great location so the following are only minor comments: My room did not have any drawer space, just hanger space only which was surprising given that it was quite spacious. The car parking spaces are adequate, nearby and off-street but the area they are in looks quite rundown. Finally - there was no air-conditioning in my room which would have been nice as it was quite hot when I stayed in June."

"Our second visit. Lovely location, cosy and beautifully furnished accommodation. A few details would make it a 5* experience. Sofa (only seating) looks nice but isn’t very comfortable for an evening in front of the TV. No shower gel. Our first visit there was a hamper of goodies with Prosecco, crisps and cake…these items weren’t offered this time which was disappointing!"

"A luxury cottage in a beautiful setting. Tastefully furnished with a pretty garden. Unfortunately the countryside setting wasn’t that peaceful as sporadically two very loud men were working on restoring some vintage double decker buses in the adjoining barn - language and diesel fumes not so welcome."

"Great location!! Shepherds hut fully equipped and well thought out, even has a picnic basket and blanket. Host is super friendly and helpful. Easy access to local community, walks, cycle tracks through beautiful forests with picnic spots along the way. Safe environment and free parking a short walk from the accommodation. Braai (barbecue) and fire pit. As SAFFA’s was great to sit around the fire under the stars braaing marshmallows. Thanks for an awesome stay."

"Everything was perfect for my post operation recovery. The hosts left us to it which I really needed but made us feel we could get in touch if we needed. The place was beautiful, surroundings were stunning. Made 2 new best friends who I’m going to miss (sheep ). The property was perfect for the surgery, big wet room, all in one level and the bed was very comfortable. Thank you guys so much "
