The interior and exterior are clean and well appointed with new furniture and modern TVs The picture is very deceptive as the beach is a few miles from the property and the private beach club is the absolute worst one in Scalea. "This apartment is a little Gem, the owners are very nice people and very helpful. We especially loved the sea view from the balcony and the very close location to a great little beach, we really enjoyed swimming and snorkelling here. "A house with the garden right at the beach. Just open the gate and you are there. A perfect and unique beach holly day spot!! ( no plastic) We stayed there from 1 until 10 July, with 5 persons and loved it. Only Italian families on the beach and it seemed that we were the only foreigners. "The beautiful view and space was luxurious! The host was always available and helpful. The fresh fruits and vegetables shared with us by the land manager were delicious!!! And pool was clean and well kept. The mattresses and pillows are very old and uncomfortable and very much need to be updated. Some of the full size beds were actually two cots put together. This was disappointing. Not enough blankets and towels were provided."

"Very lovely setting in the hills with lovely quiet pool. The beach nearby - lido del torre- was fantastic and we were regulars at the restaurant. Went for coffee in nearby Centraro and gelato in Belvedere. Both beautiful hilltop old towns to see the real Italy, kids loved the pool and everything worked and comfortable in the villa. Perfect quiet, relaxing week away - with lots of Italian food to go with it."
