"Having a fridge in the room and a kitchen at the end of the corridor was ideal when travelling with my 3 year old grandson. He loved spotting the dinosaurs from the window. Room was spotless and comfortable. Great service from reception and the staff at the Wild Bistro Cafe"

"The main corridor from lift needs to be improved so that a lot lighter. The bathroom Very disappointing. So dark could not see control indicators- not every one wants a drench experience no hooks near shower for towels/clothes, no shower gel, shower cap or sani bags. No non slip mat , I was not confident that the tiles were non slip.. Toilet felt insecure as if would cone away from wall, again very dark. The bed side light was awful, like looking at clear bulb, not near enough to read in bed comfortably. Switches on side of head board difficult to use unless sat up. Very Bad cold plates for a hot breakfast - why. On a postive note the staff were professional and helpful, the food at the wedding breakfast was excellent."

"Stayed here on a number of occasions. Always find the mattress too hard and the pillows too soft and the road noise a little distracting. Amenities are good, overall general aesthetics are good and clean but notice some areas need more focus on cleaning and maintenance throughout the property. Food, drink and staff assistance are excellent."

"I usually use Hilton hotels but noticed that this place was getting excellent reviews, so I booked for my one-night stay in Lincoln. Great start. Luke at the front desk gave a warm, genuine welcome without any 'corporate speak' that sometimes sounds like it's from a script. Room very clean with good amenities - has the feel of a company that knows how to please and takes trouble to maintain a high standard. The inclusive breakfast deserves a special mention - brilliant value and far better than most hotel breakfasts that come with an extra charge. I'd say this hotel is unbeatable at its price point. I'll be back!"
