「We were excited to ice fish the famed Chaumont Bay for trophy walleye. Unfortunately the fishing didn't go as planned. The house was great, very clean and comfortable for our group. There was a minor issue with the boiler that the manager solved very quickly. I would definitely stay here again if the fishing was better. If you are headed there to ice fish, you should be aware that access to the water from the cottage is via a set of narrow stairs, and getting a shanty to the back yard is...

「We stayed 4 nights with friends visiting from Belgium. Great location, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. The views were wonderful especially from the rooftop deck above the boathouse. In spite of the weather we had a great time. A few more kitchen towels were needed. The drains in both showers were very slow! It would be nice to have a dresser in each bedroom.」

「The house was perfect. We brought our 14 year old daughter and her friend and our older children came and went with their significant others. The house had anything you could need for a carefree vacation! We would definitely recommend! Beautiful lake view. Sat on the large deck and had a glass of wine. Big yard. We set up a volleyball net for the kids. Firepit by the lake for a fire at night. Very large. Easily accommodateed 8 people. Thank you for sharing your home with us!! 」

「Although it was a bit difficult to find, due to no exact address, it was a cute little cabin/tiny house to stay in. Beds were super comfortable and fire pit was well used, would definitely recommend and we may just come back next year!」

「Lovely new cottage tucked away in a quiet bay. You will need to have a boat or rent one to get there. The bay is shallow so communicate with the owner first if you have a larger boat. The property was super clean and very welcoming. There is a marina 5 minutes from the cottage that you can rent a pontoon boat from and you are only a few minutes from town. Definitely a place we would go again. 」

「We very much enjoyed our stay in Kathy's cottage. The location was perfect, we could see the river right from the yard, and the property is within easy walking distance to restaurants, the shops, the riverside parks and the boat museum.
