Nice place

Lovely hotel with a great room and large TV. Restaurant was nice. Only gripe is there is the self service reception. Nobody is there to meet you to tell you where everything is.

We have stayed here a few times now. Its mainly to be next to family who live nearby. The staff are extremely courteous, helpful, friendly and do their best to put our requirements first. The breakfast is amazing, local produve, cooked well and attentive service.We wont stay anywhere else in the area.

Automated check-in and check-out service. Very disappointed, no front of house, nobody around to help. Breakfast similar scenario, left to fend for yourself. Didn’t feel welcomed, no hospitality. Nice Rooms, Amazing Restaurant

Stayed in the Stallingborough Hotel for 2 nights as part of a business trip. The room was clean, tidy with comfortable beds and spare pillows. The decor is a little dated but that takes nothing away from the stay. The shower was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee exceptional! I had one evening meal and it was absolutely superb. The pulled beef pie was home made and packed with very tasty meat with a wonderful gravy. The restaurant is justifiably very popular. I will certainly stay here again.

A very pleasant experience

My 4 night stay to attend a wedding was extremely pleasant. Comfortable and very clean room. Friendly, polite and helpful staff who accommodated every request. The quality of the meals in the restaurant was superb with a good selection of items on the menu which was also based on locally sources produce. I would definitely book this venue again. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.

The room was a little outdated but all was in good order. The bed was very comfortable, one of the best I’ve slept in for a while. The room was dark and quiet at night and the tv was massive. The kettle was fixed in a strange location low down, under a cupboard but that was the only unusual thing. The food was great, both evening meal and breakafast with a good selection of higher-end traditional pub food and the beer selection at the bar was spot on - black sheep on tap! Staff were lovely; polite, funny and attentive. Has a small but perfectly formed gym which I used. Was nice and cold in there, some hotel gyms are as hot as saunas….
