"The room was nice. Everything we needed. Very basic but clean and friendly staff. The only thing we didn't like was the people walking up the wooden stairwell just outside of and above our room and someone pacing back and forth on the deck talking on their phone. It was very loud in our room and they walked up and down the stairs at 5:00 a.m. and woke us up."

"Pictures don’t do it justice! Spacious, peaceful, completely wonderful. I could sit all day and eve in the great room with a fire in the wood burning stove and the spectacular forest view out the windows. Kitchen is terrific. Super location—minutes from town but feels like the middle of the woods. There are 4 units in this building but the building is so well designed it doesn’t seem like anyone else is around. The experience was sooooo easy. (And pro tip if you’re coming from the cities - spend the extra 20 minutes taking the “scenic route” from Two Harbors. You’ll arrive in a fantastic mood!)"

"The room was very adequately equipped with everything I needed, very clean and updated as well. Jackson, in charge at the lodge, was very helpful regarding any questions or needs. I loved the location right on the lake surrounded by pine. The ski trails connected to the lake and were easily accessible. I hope to return next year!"

"The room was cozy snugged up to the lake. The staff was amazing and accommodating. If you want to truly enjoy the North I highly recommend this resort. Quiet cozy and secluded. Canoes are available at no cost which wow so enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this to all my friends who are looking to escape in the beauty of nature and disconnect from the busy world around us. "

"This is one of four lovely little cabins on the edge of Ely. The furnishings were very nice, the place was cared for, and it was very clean. Five of us stayed very comfortably for two nights. The cabin and furniture are beautifully made. Check-in was very easy with a lockbox with a code to access the key. The screened-in front porch and fire pit were nice to enjoy. If we had more time, we definitely would have used the canoe that comes with the cabin. "
