Easy access to downtown Saratoga Springs, SPAC, racetrack, Skidmore College, and the Adirondacks
Explore the hustle and bustle of downtown Saratoga Springs and after a full day, drive an easy six miles away to this peaceful getaway with a private, stunning view of the Southern Adirondacks.
The space
Welcome to our classic 1950s cinder block garage with a studio, we call it “industrial rural chic.” Although our retreat will never show in an architectural digest, our artist guests love the rustic vibe. The studio is fully furnished and well-laid out with a queen bed, large closets, and kitchen with dining table.
Enjoy the serene view of pasture, pond, and the Palmer Range, the Southern end of the Adirondack State Park. If you want to have a day adventure, there are easily accessible outdoor and city activities to choose from. To the North, explore easy day hikes and paddling on the Hudson River. To the South, downtown Saratoga Springs, SPAC, and Skidmore, all within a 15-minute drive.
If you need to check in with work or want a place to work remote, there is a bamboo standing desk, Herman Miller chair, high-speed WiFi, and reliable cell phone service (AT&T).
Guest access
Guests have private access to the studio and large, flat lawn with outdoor seating and a firepit. This is a private driveway with parking for two cars.
