Indulge in the warm ambiance of the knotty pine as you cozy up by the wood burning fireplace with a glass of wine, or gather around the outdoor fireplace on a balmy night roasting marshmallows under the starlit sky.
With a bunkhouse providing additional sleeping space, this cottage is perfect for both romantic getaways and family vacations. And, don't forget to bring your furry friend along, as we are pet friendly for well behaved dogs.
Unwind in the private hot tub, where you can soak under the twinkling stars on clear nights. Wake up to breathtaking sunrises and embark on a tour of local lighthouses during warmer months. Families will love exploring the Maritime Museum in Alpena or taking a glass-bottom boat sightseeing/shipwreck tour on the "Lady Michigan" (weather permitting) and the weekly outdoor concerts held at the Harrisville Harbor and the Oscoda Park ampler theatre. Lake Huron 4th of July

The cottage was super clean. ALOT of little amenities supplied - bonfire with wood and lighter fluid, great grill, terrific outside deck for eating, great beach with beach chairs. Highly recommend. Very nice hosts.

Amazing little gem on Lake Huron

We LOVED our stay at the cottage. It is cozy, well stocked and in a great location. The shores of Lake Huron are just steps out the door.The furniture is comfortable and it is a very easy living space.We loved sitting on the deck, the bird feeders were stocked and the birds were everywhere.We enjoyed walking the beach and jet skiing on Cedar Lake, which has public access 2 minutes away. It was wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating. We could not have asked for a better location and look forward to returning for another stay.

Peaceful retreat

We absolutely loved our stay in this cozy retreat. The property is beautiful and very quiet despite being on a busy road. The beach access was amazing, our two dogs absolutely loved running down the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed watching all the birds, squirrels, chipmunks play in the yard around the bird feeders. That was my favorite part! House was very cozy and had everything we needed for a long weekend. We enjoyed cooking, reading, and relaxing. Good location close to Oscada (we did a day trip to lumberman’s monument), Tawas and Sturgeon Lighthouse. Overall, perfect beach getaway!

Great rustic cabin on the beach

We all had a great stay. My dogs loved the lake and my son had a fun time flying his kite on the beach. Definitely would stay here again. It's very convenient to go into Oscoda for shopping.

Beautiful stay!

We loved the views, access to the sandy shores of Lake Huron, and the hot tub. Our golden especially loved the water. The pictures don’t do the cottage justice. It is beautiful and a very comfortable stay. Thanks for sharing this little slice of heaven!

This cottage was exactly what the family needed just a wonderful place to take your family and relax. The privacy was great the cottage was beautiful inside and out and lake was gorgeous and host was excellent will most likely come back for another stay for sure!!!!!!

amazing winter beach experience!

The cottage was quite lovely and spacious, and right on the beach. We enjoyed lots of long walks on the beach, and Oscoda was nearby to grab dinner.

Relaxing and cozy cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage on the beach. What a gem and prompt communication by host. Our Labrador retriever loved the beach for swimming and chasing butterflies and the eagle resting in a nearby tree was a bonus! We loved walking the beach at sunrise and sunset - spectacular pics. A very relaxed time and will surely return!

Michigan at its best!

This one bedroom cabin has all you need for a weekend or week long stay. The king bed is comfortable and spacious. There is also a pull out sofa in one of the living rooms that offers privacy for an additional couple and a bunk house. Firewood is provided and the beach area is pristine and quiet. We (40ish couple with dogs) thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already booked for next summer.
