"Yes I knew there was no A/C but still it would have helped as the fans above and the floor fans provided didn't make a difference to the temperature in the room. The host was exceptional in responding to questions. Everything was as stated and very clean."

"We had a fantastic time here. The house is absolutely beautiful, the views are spectacular, and having the beach right outside was a hit with the kids. The kitchen is extremely well-supplied, so I was even able to bake my wife a cake on her birthday. The lakefront location kept the temperatures in the 70s when the rest of the area was baking in near 90-degree temperatures, so that was definitely a plus. We've rented houses many times and this one definitely stands out as one of the best we've ever experienced."

"My family and I enjoyed our stay on the property. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of transparency with pricing. When we booked the house and paid the deposit there were taxes and fees listed as one would expect. However, upon making our final payment the taxes and fees were itemized and we discovered a 616 extra person fee. When I asked about the fee, the Agape Vacation Rentals manager said that there’s a fee for every person over 2 people and that the information was listed on the property info on VRBO. When I checked the listing again I found the only information related to an extra person fee to be under the information you need to know as stated: “Extra-person charges may apply and vary depending on property policy”. The house is advertised to sleep 10 people and that’s exactly how many people we had at the house. We all would have appreciated transparency in the pricing and likely would have chosen another property to accommodate our group without an additional fee. The property manager, Jean, was helpful and responsive during our stay. The outdoor area near the basement and the deck were very dirty with cobwebs and we found some trash and empty beer cans by the fire pit that we disposed of. Overall we enjoyed our time and the location of the house. The sunsets were beautiful and the use of the kayaks was enjoyable!"
