「I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Royal Kalaw Hills Resort. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the food is excellent and the service was personal and everyone was very attentive. Chozin, who manages the resort was particularly helpful and I could always count on her to help me in many capacities. Her English skills are very good and she was able to help tremendously. 「Pros 1. Rooms are just okay - spartan (not big) along with toothbrush, toothpaste, bath gel, shampoo 3. Free water bottle per day 4. Refilling of water near the reception area 5. good Restaurants within 20 metres 6. 「We only spent one night here before our 3 day trek to Inle Lake and it was an amazing hotel! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was awesome. Five stars all around.」

「It's atmosphere is very good with full of flowers. However, what is good ends there. The room was cold at night, electricty recepticles were sluggish and the basin cap plug did not work. The hot water capacity was too small and I had to give up filling a bath tub with hot water. Preparing breakfast was very slow.」
