「My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

「This was such an amazing stay, I highly recommend it. Check in was very easy and straight forward. The bathroom was right next to the shed and was very clean inside. We had a bit of a problem with the power, but they fixed it within 5 minutes of me texting them. We had a tour of the farm which was the highlight of my Maine trip. Wish we stayed longer, thank you so much for an amazing/unique stay!! 」

「It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.」

「Very friendly restaurant staff, easy check in, private, very quiet, comfortable cabin. Excellent Mexican takeout in Millbridge and wonderful beaches and hiking trails around Machias. Great time to buy wild blueberries and enjoy the stark beauty of the barrens. Would visit again!」

「Great rustic lodging. Helpful and friendly host. Beautiful area and close to many hiking trails in parks and preserves. Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). 」

「We had such a lovely time at this place. It’s right on the water with a beautiful back deck and fire pit that overlook the ocean. The house itself was perfect for our family gathering. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were well-stocked with everything we needed. My only qualm is that we had stayed here because it was close to Bar Harbor - the listing said it was a 50min drive but was more like an hour 10min and there wasn’t much else to do in Milbridge.
