I expected rustic cabin but I didn’t see that it did not have electrics or running water. I didn’t expect big gaps in the wall boards that allowed you to look through the walls of the cabin. Which might not have been so bad had there not been swarms of mosquitos that attacked while we were looking the place over. It...

「Our family had the best time in Downeast Maine! Erika was a lovely host and was very communicative. This red farm house was the best place to slow down and enjoy all the area has to offer. We loved watching the tide come in and out each day! The house is well equipped and had everything our group of 10 adults needed for our stay. If you are coming in the summer, be sure to pack bug spray! Everything was thoughtfully put together.」

「The house is comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Vrbo has this house not far from Bar Harbor, but it is actually a bit over an hour drive. We didn't mind the drive, but you should at least be aware. The house is, however, not far from Schoodic and Winter Harbor, which also allows you to experience much of the same hikes, water sports, etc. as Bar Harbor. 」
