「From the moment guests arrive at De Bergkant, they feel special. Even the parking lot is well thought out and pretty (as parking lots go). Tracey greeted us with ice tea from local rooibos plants and honey from local bees. Our room was clean, beautiful in a delightful way, and comfortable. The grounds were lovely and we took a dip in one of the pools before a delicious breakfast. It’s an impeccably designed property.」

The food was also excellent — delicious, generous in portion size, and very satisfying overall. The only downside was the tap water (including the shower). The water was quite salty, and even after showering, my hair felt dry and not very refreshed. Aside from that minor issue, everything else was outstanding, and I was extremely satisfied with the experience."
