  • TOTALLY REMODELED 2 BEDROOM UNITS WITH FULL KITCHENS AND LIVING ROOMS, UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! All units are fully furnished with 2 bedrooms (queen beds), 1 bath with tub/shower, full kitchen, living room, satellite TV, WiFi, new air conditioning, gas fireplaces in the 2 downstairs units, and all units have access to an outdoor common area which includes a patio with gas bar-be-cue and off-street parking, with a shared entry to the building. The Iron Trout Inn is located in the quiet river town of Cascade, Montana, only blocks from the legendary blue ribbon trout fishing of the Missouri River. Cascade is a full service town with 2 bars, 3 restaurants, a nice grocery store, fuel station and a new fly shop/guide business. A great boat launch and shuttle service to fishing access sites is available locally. You will find that our rates at the Iron Trout Inn are very reasonable. Each of the 4 units are clean and freshly remodeled and can sleep up to a maximum of 4 people (2 queen beds). No pets are allowed. If you travel with a service animal, a current validated certificated needs to be provided to management upon making a reservation. No smoking or vaping is allowed in any of the units and tampering with the smoke detectors can result in a fine of up to $200. Outdoor smoking areas are provided. These rules are for the safety and comfort of all of our guests. We hope you enjoy your stay with us at the Iron Trout Inn!

Very clean and easy to access property. Extra bedding, towels, bathroom accessories (soap, shampoo, conditioner) and blow dryer provided. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure. All appliances and kitchen utensils/gadgets on hand. Easy access to the freeway and stores.

Quick Missouri River Fishing Trip

This property is a great place to stay. Past visits were excellent. An issue with the unit being cleaned after the previous VRBO guest was a very disappointing and cause for having to stay with other family members in another unit for first night. Once the owner was aware of the problem (the next day) he was very responsive and remedied the issues for the next night stay. Mr. Anderson has always been responsive to any request or concerns. I would recommend this VRBO anytime, unfortunate circumstance put my family in a bad situation first night and unfortunately had to impose on other family members in the same VRBO but different unit.

Wonderful

This property was all fresh, new, clean and well stocked. It was like the owner had previously stayed in a short-term rental property and insured this one filled all the expectations. It is in a wonderful quiet neighborhood.

Family Reunion and Rodeo

Stay was very pleasant. My only concerns are light over kitchen sink does not work, missing some utensils ie spatulas/pan cake turner, right cupboard door screws are loose above where the coffee maker is located. No tea kettle. These are very minor repairs. Again, the accommodation was GREAT.

Lovely Inn

We had a wonderful time in the Iron Trout Inn. It was clean, orderly, and quiet. Gym was a very kind host, and really cared to all our needs. Definitely recommend.
