Communications with Jenni were excellent and Angie made us very welcome when we arrived. It was a family get together with a variety of ages and the house was just perfect for us. "Easy check in, staff were super helpful. Room was a great size, clean and nice and bright. Struggled to get the app to connect to my Expedia booking to control all the mod-cons but it wasn't critical - I could still use the TV remote the old fashioned way! Really enjoyed our stay here as an overnight stop to break up a long journey and would definitely recommend to other travellers!"

"The consistency of room service standard was not there. One day my room was cleaned well, i had 4 bottles of water i had 4 biscuits for each of us staying in the room. The next day i had no bottles of water, no biscuits, the two extra beds were not made. I was very disappointed upon entering our room after a long day out. "

"We were a family of 6 adults, 2 children and a baby staying for a week over new year on The Barn. It was really spacious, but also so cosy and warm. The spaced out bedroom arrangements suited us brilliantly. The log fire was great and the kitchen had everything needed. The bathrooms are lovely to use. All round it was great"
