"Excellent hotel with great staff and service in a prime location."

"We arrived early at about 10:30 and were allowed to leave our car while we explored Kendal. When we got back around 14:30 our room was ready so we went in and settled in. My wife has an issue with onions her meal did contain onions despite being told they’d be excluded. It would have useful to know we could use the pool prior to checking in. "

"Location was ideal for our trip - easy to find and large car park. The building looks very impressive externally and the inside was just stunning. The decor and surrounding give the place a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted at reception and made to feel very welcome. The room was outstanding - plenty of room and the bathroom was unbelievable - everything was so clean and comfortable. Had a lovely meal in the evening - first class and excellent portion size - cooked to perfection for both of us. Service was superb and very attentive. Breakfast was lovely too - had the best poached eggs I have ever had and the breakfast set is up for the day around the Lakes. Will definitely return - the best was so comfy and the temperature of the room was just right - slept like a log and fully refreshed the next day. A gem of a hotel and I cannot compliment enough. I would also express my sincerest thanks to the staff and management who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as they could 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"

"Easy parking, excellent Reception staff. Room clean and comfortable. Christmas decorations in the bar/dining areas were beautiful and tastefully done. Breakfast was lovely, as were the staff, very professional and well presented. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
