With over 300 square feet of windows, the home immerses you in the beauty of its surroundings. Inside, you’ll find warm touches everywhere—solid cherry paneling, wormy chestnut cabinets, and hardwood floors.

A cozy living area invites you to gather around the Vermont cast iron stove with gas logs, while high-speed fiber optic internet keeps you connected if you need to work or stream. An inside stairway leads to an enclosed observatory at the top of the dome—a perfectly romantic spot for stargazing above the tree canopy.

Step outside, where a spacious deck wraps halfway around the dome, providing the ideal spot to sip your morning coffee or watch the sunset. Just beyond the kitchen door, a stone pathway leads to the patio, where a swing, picnic table, and bubbling hot tub await your relaxation. The property also features two fire pits—perfect for gathering under the stars with a blanket, roasting marshmallows, and making s’mores.

Take time to wander the trails that meander through the woods and open meadows, or sit quietly by the scenic pond with a good book. From the highest ridge, you might even catch a glimpse of Grandfather Mountain on a clear day.

When you’re ready to explore, adventure and local flavor are just minutes away. The New River—perfect for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or floating lazily on a tube—is just down the road. Dine at the renowned River House Restaurant or enjoy a fun, casual evening at Red Dog. Hike trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway, or take a day trip north to Chateau Morrisette Winery and Mabry Mill along the Parkway. Closer to home, Helton Creek Trout Stream—famous among anglers—is just a mile away, and the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area offers hiking, horseback riding, and breathtaking mountain views.

Unforgettable comfortably accommodates up to 5 guests in the upstairs loft with 1 Queen, 1 Double, and 1 Twin bed. With 1.5 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, satellite TV, and linens/towels provided, everything is ready for your stay. The home is pet-friendly too, so you can bring your furry family members along for the adventure. Note: Pets allowed with a $75 per stay per pet. Airbnb/VRBO will only automatically charge one pet. The host will add an additional $75 for each pet if you are bringing more than one pet.
