Secluded Cabin 1 directly on the lake

Lakefront property on Houston County Lake with two 600 SQ ft cabins. Each cabin can sleep up to eight in two bedrooms and a loft and they rent separately.

Beds: Queen in Master, bunk Full Size in guest, two twins in the loft.
Sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels are provided for each cabin.

Shared outdoor kitchen with a BBQ pit, sink, electrical outlets, and countertop.

The last 5 miles of the drive are on a "Red Dirt Road" and it can be bumpy or even slippery if it's rained recently. I've never heard of any issues in any vehicles but it's definitely a county road. You will leave with red dirt on your vehicle but that's part of the appeal, the secluded getaway :)

The main driveway is pretty steep but hasn't caused any issues. There are 3 alternate routes so any vehicle will be fine.

Once you start down the driveway you'll see the lake through the trees and it makes the rough 5-mile ride worth it.

Quick Reunion Getaway!

We had a great time at the cabin. The windows overlooking the lake are such a beautiful thing to wake up to. We plan to book next year and allow ourselves more time to enjoy the amenities offered! We caught 6 fish in the early morning on the dock with little effort at. Our kids enjoyed the paddle boats/kayaks and water slide. It was a very relaxing place to stay and our neighbors in the cabin next door were great! Thanks for a great experience!

Gene knows customer service

I’ve stayed at many rentals over the years but never had I stayed where the owner, Gene, was as accommodating as anyone could hope for. What a great person to get to know! Especially great is his willingness in making sure your stay at his property is a fantastic one. Fishing Trip 2023

Great place to get away and do some fishing. Clean, comfortable cabins were grea. Beautiful view of lake from cabins. Owner was good people and check several times to make sure we were enjoying our trip. Thanks Gene for allowing us to visit your perfect lake cabin.

The perfect "unplug" place

If you're looking to drive a few extra miles down a dirt road, unplug and unwind from your busy life, then there is no better spot. You won't hear any other noise at this place, will be right on the lakeshore, in complete privacy of your own being. The host communicated well prior to arrival, had everything ready at the house. The house was well stocked with the kitchen utensils, pots, pans etc. All beds were great as well. Just a perfect spot, couldn't ask for anything more.
