"Location can’t be beaten if you’re a bear/wildlife watcher! View of Tetons spectacular from Lodge and “cottages” that face that direction. Staff are lovely - although mostly new and inexperienced at start of season. Overall impressions of the place impressive, however the property in need of serious upgrade, especially cottages. First night outside temps dropped below freezing, room heating was faulty/pretty much non-existent and bedding minimal! Too late to get sorted. It was COLD! Maintenance able to restore some heating next day so a bit better but way below standard expected. Food - The takeout from diner expensive but acceptable, although was given wrong order & didn’t realise until too late. Annoyingly was something couldn’t eat - although fries really good! Staff again lovely, but very undertrained and really didn’t know what they were doing! Restaurant very expensive. You pay a premium for the location, which is wonderful, but sadly the cottage for this trip was way below expected standard for the cost."

"I enjoyed my stay at the Hostel. It's not intended to be a fancy place and I simply needed a place with a good bed, heat and hot water; it was exactly what I was looking for. They do have a well-appointed common area that I didn't use. I was out early every morning chasing wildlife images and returned late every evening. The room didn't have a television and this didn't bother me one bit. Internet service in my room was excellent. It's a great place to stay. I won't hesitate to book another room there when I return to the area."

"The rooms were clean but needed a lot of maintenance. 2 lights in my room didn't work. The worst thing was I had no hot water in my room until the morning we checked out. I was not able to take a shower for 2 days. Not acceptable. The staff were nice but totally clueless. It was a holiday weekend and no maintenance staff on the property. The manager wasn't due back until Tuesday, so no one had the authority to fix my water problem or comp me for the inconvenience. My son was staying in the second room I rented and his water barely got to luke warm. It appeared that the hot water heater for the hotel wasn't sufficient for a full house. The saving grace of the weekend was the morning breakfast. That was very good and a nice variety of options. Another alarming fact that was totally uncomfortable was that the maid would open up multiple rooms at one time to clean, leaving the ones she wasn't in at the time, exposed to possible theft from passer-byes. The lack of security made us uncomfortable"

"The Honeymoon cabin had its own bathroom and was secluded. The restaurant on site was ok but very expensive for burgers with the added gratuity. Sheets were rough but bed was not horrible."

"Our family stayed in the suite and it was very comfortable for the four of us. The store was very nice for souvenirs, snacks and drinks. We had dinner at the Whetstone and it was delicious! The waiter was great and the cocktails were tasty. I wouldn’t change anything about this quaint resort. We would definitely stay again."

"We had an amazing experience at the Four Seasons in Jackson Hole, WY. The concierge team went above and beyond to accomodate my 4 year old little girl, our pom, and my husband's 40th birthday. They set up the cutest little tent in our room for our daughter and had banners, a cake, and snacks to help celebrate my husband's birthday. The concierge also help arrange all of our dinner reservations and activities. We were in awe at the attention to detail and the above and beyond service that was shown to us. We will definitely stay here again in the future."
