The ranch house was perfect for our stay while we explored Bruneau Canyon and Idaho backroads. Everything was as described, ping pong was fun, and the views are to die for in literally every direction from the wrap around porch!
The ranch house is a quiet and cozy spot with great views and amazing sunsets. The hosts are very helpful and responsive without being intrusive. We will likely stay there again.
This property was perfect for our late season elk hunt. It was so nice to come home to a warm fire and great property! Enjoyed our stay and all the amenities. We will definitely be back!
Remote fun experience. If you want to feel like living on a cattle and goat ranch this is your place. Clean place and property manager was very responsive. Great experience for my friends visiting from Michigan
We come together as a family each January to share stories and celebrate the life of beautiful young woman who left us too soon and this amazing property has become part of that tradition. The views are incredible, the sunrises are gorgeous, the hosts are available, attentive and very kind. Its a wonderful place to remember our loved one,.
Truly a little slice of heaven. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets to be seen sitting on the wrap around porch. Melissa was wonderful to work with. Will stay there again next time we visit our son in Mountain Home. Just a 25 minute drive away.
We had a great time at this ranch house. Very well stocked kitchen. Played darts and pin pong.We loved watching the goats and owls. This is a huge farm area. So depending on the winds. It will smell like a farm. The views of the mountains were beautiful. Could use a coffee table in the living room. The charcoal grill was full of ash and needed a cleaning. We bought darts and ping pong balls and donated them for future guests.Thank you for letting us stay at your ranch house. We will stay here again when visiting our daughter at the Air Force Base.
Perfect accommodations for our stay - the home is clean and comfortable with well appointed amenities.
Host was friendly and responsive, including when our plans changed unexpectedly.
The ping pong table was a fun diversion for us too!
Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
This was a great place for someone, wanting to learn more about a working cattle ranch and the processing of cattle. However, it is not a great place for someone who wants to experience, Wilderness, or undeveloped ,wildlife areas and smell the aspens end spruce.

I’m going to say if your not from a ranching community your in for a treat it’s an amazing little house and gives you the taste of ranch life if the smell bugs you look for a place in the city but if you don’t mind country living it’s the place for you.
Awesome 100% wrap around porch. Country setting quiet and peaceful…the goats were soo cute nearby we saw an owl in tree three quail walk by the sliding glass door. Our family enjoyed the openness of this Vrbo game room with ping pong table and dart board was a huge hit with our family. The home was well stocked with basics. The host was very good at communicating. Our grown kids and grandkids loved this place. We would like to stay here again! Thank you Melissa for everything!
I’m a pastor in Nampa, ID and brought my staff here for some time away. Melissa and her husband were fantastic! They were accommodating and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed! The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, there was plenty of room for working, relaxing, and playing, the area was quiet, and the views were nice. We enjoyed several lively matches of ping pong in the game room! The living room with the fireplace and TV (& accessories) were perfect for the work we were doing. We appreciated the wood supply being maintained! We definitely recommend this home and will stay here again if we have need or opportunity!
The house sits in a shaded open space overlooking the planes. Cattle pastures surround the house which is on the opposite side of the quiet road from the main farmhouse. Further down the road ibis and other interesting birds can be sighted. The area is very rural. The house has a room with ping pong table and darts, great for everyone.
There is a central air conditioning, which one needs in summer as it gets very hot.
The kitchen is very spacious and has lots of room
but the pans need to be replaced, as the teflon is all cratched.
A very nice place to be.
We came here to Celebrate my son’s retirement from the Air Force of 20 years. He suggested to stay at your B nB because my niece and nephew and family stayed here. We thought it would be a great opportunity as we all love country environment. I live in a country environment but in a desert. I prefer color which your place gave me plus more. Watching how your dogs work with herds and how the greeted us after we settled was so wonderful. The openness let us breathe and not feel we were confined. The owls at night were calming and so peaceful. I was able to see them in the morning and I hope my photo comes out. The air was fresh and the coolness was a delight. You truly have a slice of heaven and we are so grateful you shared with us.
Great little ranch house very quiet and off the beaten path. Great place to hunt geese and not have to stay up in the busy town of Mountain Home. Fresh clean air and dark skies. Will definitely stay again next time when we are in town
This property was great. Quiet and relaxing. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Great star gazing. The daily visits by the dog and cat made us feel like we were at home.
