This amazing apartment is in a quaint neighborhood in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. My neighbors are quiet and friendly working professionals. The apartment is in a residential area, just blocks from all the exciting treasures that downtown Grand Rapids has to offer... museums, festivals, fireworks, sporting events (and its Beer City designation) have brought in visitors from around the world.

Quiet cozy retreat at an affordable rate! Walk to all your favorites or catch the free downtown shuttle a few blocks away! So much to see and do in Grand Rapids! Host was amazing and responsive. I would recommend.
This place was perfect for a last minute stay in Grand Rapids. The property is cute inside, as well as being very clean and updated. It is definitely cozy, but for my husband and I, it was a perfect size. As mentioned in other reviews, the stairs are definitely something to be aware of. We brought our senior dog and I had just planned on carrying her, so it wasn’t a big deal for us, but if you have bad knees or older dogs, be aware. :) Stephanie was very communicative and friendly. We would stay in any of her properties in the future. :) thank you!!
As advertised, pictures are accurate. Communication with Stephanie was great. My only advise is to add that this apartment is up a flight of steep steps. We had to bring our dog who has some back leg problems and I would have picked one of the lower level rentals if I would have known this. Otherwise all was good. Thanks Stephanie.
This place was recently updated and well equipped with everything we needed. It was nice to have some basic items in the kitchen for cooking. This neighborhood is centrally located within walking distance to downtown. We never heard anyone else in the building.
The VRBO was super cute and clean and Stephanie was a fantastic host! She was very responsive and helpful with check in and move out and we really enjoyed our stay!
Host was very responsive. It was clean with newer renovations. It was up one set of stairs. We went on 90 degree days and the two window AC units kept the entire place nice and cool. The mattress was on the firmer side. Couch was comfortable as well. There was plenty street of parking at the rental. It was a short walk downtown and quick access to public transport, ubers and bikes/scooters.Wouldn't hesitate to stay again and would definitely recommend!
Super cute, clean and close to downtown. The host's communication was great, and the accuracy of the listing was A+! The location is near Grand Valley State and though it has a college feel, the neighborhood was pretty quiet. It's a quick mile to downtown and if the weather isn't conducive to walking, Uber and Lyft were quick to pick us up for a ride downtown. Thanks so much, Stephanie! We look forward to coming back.

Fancy property, great distance from downtown. However the HVAC units were not enough to keep us from freezing overnight. Otherwise a fantastic place to rent out.
The host was very responsive and all instructions were clear. The apartment was very clean. The host allows dogs which is wonderful and not always easy to find. I just wish our dogs were not so noisy which is no fault of the property owner. This was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it.
Stephanie was always quick to answer any questions I had and the apartment was true to pictures. We needed a little space for my husband and I and our two dogs for the weekend and this worked perfectly.
The apartment was just what my son and I needed to break away from a hotel stay. Having special dietary needs, we wanted to stay somewhere that we could prepare our own simple meals. The little kitchen handled the two of us very well. We found a market just a half mile away. Anything we needed downtown was convenient to get to. Communications before and during our first were incredibly timely! I felt secure that any issues we had would be quickly resolved (but we had no issues). We enjoyed our stay. The couch was reasonably comfortable (I let my son have the bedroom ☺️). AC/fan worked and kept the bedroom cool for sleeping (did not use the living area unit). Windows worked and the ceiling fans helped circulate fresh air throughout the day. Not a lot of frills, but we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
After spending the day eating and drinking in downtown Grand Rapids, this was a nice place to stay. Considered downtown hotels, but this was a short Uber ride. Will return again!!
My husband and I went to GR for the night to see Hamilton. This place was so stinkin' cute and perfect for the occasion. The property manager was readily available and helpful.
We enjoyed our stay at the Retreat Suite—it was sparkling clean, comfortable, and convenient. A big plus was that it was dog friendly! Our only challenge were the stairs to the property, tricky for our elderly dog.
