Our group has a great time staying at Mountain Calling - there was a lot to like about the house. The kitchen is well stocked with all the things you need to cook a nice meal, the living room was comfortable, the decks has a great view of the river. The master bed room was large and the bed was comfortable. They provided tons of towels in the bathrooms. Down stairs was a great set up for a family of 4. Our kids loved all of the toys! The adults loved sitting on the deck and watching the sunset. The house was fairly clean upon arrival, but a few details were missed - like hair in the master bath and one of the towels didn't look like it had been washed. The biggest miss was with the property management company - The house was out of propane (we planned to grill for dinner) and the coffee maker wasn't working (traveling with 3 kids under 3- we needed coffee!) I had called to inquire about a replacement for both and I was told someone would get in touch with me to bring the items, but I never heard back so we went without a working coffee pot or propane for our trip. Overall the house was very comfortable for a weekend get away and we loved the locations. Thanks for having us!
Perfect location for a peaceful stay. Beautiful home with everything we needed.

Nice place
We enjoyed our stay. The place and location were great. The only thing that was frustrating was that we didn't know we needed a code to unlock the hot tub until we tried to use it. The host wrote me back within a few hours with the code but by then the kids were asleep.
Beautiful location! Floor plan of bedrooms was a little hard for 6 adults but great if you have kids.

Great for fishing
Nice, quiet spot within a stone’s throw of some good fly fishing and a short drive away from marinas, lakes and the cute little town of Grand Lake. It’s a simple spot, but had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Had an issue with the door locks, but it was dealt with promptly, which was appreciated.
This property is located next to a river, and about 2 miles from the highway on a seldom traveled well maintained gravel road. We loved hiking the area.. But we had lots of routine maintenance issues.
Beautiful spot and good central location between Grand Lake and Lake Granby. The house is not new and has an interesting layout, but it was comfortable and worked well for our family. We had plenty of space and enjoyed lots of porch time outdoors and at the river. Two very minor requests would be an outdoor table for al fresco meals and sharper kitchen knives. Very minor requests - overall a great stay!
This property had everything we needed. The sound of the river out front was very soothing. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck to enjoy the views. The only thing that would have made our trip a little bit better was our need for instructions in how to get the TV to work. The only instruction was to go online?

Great location, nice cabin/condo, two of the beds are terrible.
Great location, well maintained home, well stocked, with a stream running right past in the front. I would rent this place again, but ONLY IF they replace the two mattresses on the two day beds in the lower level bedroom and put a window covering over the window that is directly above one of the daybeds. Sadly without those changes, I would not rent again, and that would be a shame since everything else was very nice.
Follow the directions, do not use Google maps, it will take you too a locked gate. Thank goodness someone was going through and let us through. The house is perfect for a quick get away. Beautiful setting, very well stocked kitchen, games, deck to enjoy a beverage or your morning coffee. Colorado river access with a great place to have a picnic. We wanted to BBQ, but no gas for the grill, just 2 empty canisters. Texted the contact number, they quickly replied to the wifi issue but never responded to our propane request. We found it odd that we had to take all the garbage. Recommend bringing large garbage bags. Enjoyed our weekend on the river.

Wonderful stay
This cozy, well appointed mountain home is in a beautiful setting looking right at the Colorado river. It had everything we needed.Love the master bedroom.
We will go back!
Mountain Calling is a nice, well equipped property in a lovely riverfront location. Unfortunately, there were several maintenance issues that prevent me from giving a glowing recommendation.
The hall tub/shower was leaking heavily into the basement. A call to management had the problem fixed the next day.
Other bathroom maintenance issues included both shower curtain liners had pink mildew on them and both shower curtains had obvious water stains. Also, a sink stopper in the main bathroom wasn’t working and the sink wouldn’t drain.
Finally, the bed in the main bedroom is high and I couldn’t find a bedside step for easier access.
This was a wonderful property for our family. The views were amazing and there were moose in the yard to greet us! The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the pack and play and the kids toys at the house. Plenty of towels and soap/shampoo. Kitchen was fully stocked. Less than a 15 minute drive to town.
The only tip I would provide is that the kitchen cabinets were all quite sticky and needed a solid wipe down. Everything else was clean and inviting.
Thank you for letting us stay at this beautiful home. We hope to be back!

Great stay!
We had a great time here! Loved the location right on the river and the kitchen was well stocked. Our kids loved having a few games and books there, too. Proximity to RMNP can't be beat!
We were allowed to check in a couple hours early, which was nice. Original door code we were given didn't work because it didn't become effective until 4 pm original check in time. A quick call to the property manager and it was all fixed. Really the only snafu was that the remote to the television was missing so we couldn't watch tv but we really didn't miss it anyway. We did report it to the property manager who said they would notify owner and get back to us but we never heard anything more. Very nice house and hearing the rush of the Colorado River right across the street was very relaxing. No AC but we shut the windows during the heat of the day and the house stayed pretty cool. They do have several fans in the house as well. Everything was really clean and the Master Bedroom king sized bed was really comfortable! Wifi also worked really well. The only way to get into the house is to walk up some stairs so be aware of that. We enjoyed our stay!

Riverside Retreat
Sitting along side the Colorado River sipping on a glass of wine, watching the sunrise/set. The wildlife….a family of Elk passed our way daily. The house is spacious with nice views of the River and countryside.
Great property. A little more attention to detail on arrival cleanliness, upstairs toilet was broken. Everything else was wonderful. Wished was notified earlier if early check in was possible (1day before). Would go back again! Great view, quiet neighborhood, saw a moose and her baby, plenty of space.

River Dream
The location is perfect! Way back off the main road with very little traffic on this road. We enjoyed hiking the road along the river. Property was great but with some routine maintenance issues.
