Whispering Pines Cottage is a delightful 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom vacation home located in Grand Lake, Colorado. The cottage is perfect for families or groups of friends, as it features two queen beds, a twin bunk bed, and a futon, providing comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 6 guests. Additionally, the cottage is extremely family-friendly, as it comes equipped with a baby changing table, a booster seat for the kitchen, a pack and play, toys, and books to keep the little ones entertained.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything guests need to prepare delicious meals during their stay. Guests can gather around the dining table to enjoy their meals while taking in the serene views of the surrounding mountains.

In the summer months, the large fenced-in backyard is a highlight of the property, providing ample space for families and pets to run and play. Cute cabin with everything you’d need (lots of baby equipment, which we didn’t need, but might be helpful for others!). It could use a deep cleaning, but kitchen, beds, and bathroom was clean. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions.

Property is very difficult to find initially and VRBO made it very difficult to contact the host however she responded quickly and the property was everything we expected. Very comfortable stay.

Miss information

We didn’t actually stay at this property we got moved because of the lack of information on parking. We were told there was plenty of parking for two trucks and two enclosed snowmobile trailer ls. That was false as the one spot it’s a 45 degree angle and to get in the other spot I tried to back up the snow covered hill and couldn’t make it up. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone that’s snowmobiling

Exactly what we needed

If you are familiar with this area, you know that this is a quintessential Grand Lake / Lake Granby cabin that has been here for at least 50 years. The neighborhood is very quiet, and the yard is almost full shade with the trees. You can walk to Lake Granby from the cabin. It is not a big home, but it does have 3 bedrooms and a very nice size bathroom. The kitchen and family room are very comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed our 3-night stay here and recommend this home and property management company.
