Very convenient on the main street in Grand Lake, and we had a late arrival, which was handled perfectly and efficiently. Nice room, we've stayed in that same room before (we've stayed at this property six or seven times in recent years), the motel was full but there was still a parking spot for us in the lot. All good, the lady in the lobby at our late arrival gave all the instructions needed.

This hotel is minutes from one entrance to the Rocky Mountain State Park. We accidentally exited the other side and were over a hour away but we just went right back in. 😂 It’s within walking distance to restaurants and shops. It felt like we were staying in the clouds when we were there. It’s not fancy but a nice place.

Clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location to town and activities. The only downside was the hot tub was very small and occupied so we couldn't use it. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff was great. They fixed our tv, and showed us how to connect to the WiFi. The hotel was convenient to downtown Grand Lake. We were able to leave the car at the hotel and walk to nearby restaurants, shops, and the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre. The hotel was convenient to the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and Trail Ridge Road. We had a wonderful time during our 4 day stay at Big Horn Lodge in Grand Lake, CO.

The price was good, location was great, loved the Keurig Coffee in the room. Beds were comfortable. The only issue was the TV - the gal at the front desk had to rig it to get it to the correct input (she showed me what to do but I forgot), so in order to make sure we were able to watch the news in the morning we just left it on all night. The wifi kept going on and off so we finally just removed it from our phones. Other than issues with technology, the room was fine.

Staff was friendly. Owner a very nice person. You can walk very short distance to Cy's sandwich shop, for an excellent meal. Everything downtown is a reasonable walk.

I liked that it was on the Main Street where all the shops are. Close to everything. No one works at the front desk around the clock though. We arrived about 3 hours early and wanted to drop our bags at the desk and go walk around, unencumbered. Was not to be. Tried calling and texting with no response till after check in time. Otherwise, the room was clean and well maintained.

Air conditioning was hard to regulate. Bathroom stool was low to the floor, with high water level, making it uncomfortable to use. Staff was mostly missing in action, with only a cell phone number to call for assistance and no one present at all during checkout.

The staff is helpful when they are present, which is only 8 hours of the day. TV needed to be fixed by them when we first arrived because there was no signal. Power went out later in the afternoon after the staff left for the night so there was no one to help. Would have been a nice stay if they had people available to help in situations like these or if they could fix the underlying issues with the property where they know appliances frequently fail since one of the first things I was told when checking in is that they can help fix those problems if present.
